I have a 300 watt (180 actual draw) light from the same company, I paid 180 and so far I am pleased. I have only used it in colaboration with hps but I do feel like it is helping as supplemental lighting (deffinately in veg). They seem to be built well enough and use 3 watt diodes which is relative to most manufactuerers, the fact is that alot of American LED grow light companies will order from companies similar to this and put their graphics on it and charge tripple. IMO california light works has the most impressive LEDs on the market currently but they are too expensive for justification over hps or mh.

Oh, thats great news! Do you think the 135w light would be enough to get a plant through veg and flowering though? Or would i need to throw in some extra CFLs?

I would deffinately get some cfl's, I found 55 watt (listed as 200watt equivalent) bulbs at Wal-Mart for 13 bucks (i was excited). Are you growing in a really tight space? The LED will be great concerning heat but if you can get away with it you will be more productive with a hps of comparable price.

I am planning to grow in a very small space, so its important to keep everything cool, and compact. So an HPS light plus a ballast would be a little too much for me, but I'll keep HPS in mind.
