The main benifit of the larger cfl globes is they take up less room. In general they are also easily moved compared to 10 small globes. less wiring and quick changers.I didn't. I was sure they were more efficient..I wouldn't have suggested it if I knew..My bad
I dont think efficiency plays much of part as we are talking small watts here but everyone has their "deal" breaker.
I like em but they suit my grow space (in sig) and are fairly set and forget. Your not changing the heights everyday. I like that.
