Didn't get around to building my veg room today:-( called away on other duties.

Got to wait in for my 12inch (315mm) fan for the tent as well tomorrow, thought I'd give this a go - http://www.justfans.co.uk/upa-acoustic-fans-p-338.html

The sound figures look impressive, will let you know what it's like soon.

Again sorry for the lack of photos, there are genuine reasons why I am unable to post at the moment. That will be sorted as soon as possible, then there will be hundreds!

Thanks for the patience!

Oh yeh forgot to mention, I put up that double loft bed. It's awesome! It will be perfect for my needs (will house my veg/mothering room), and anyone who hasn't got the room to grow could make a proper flowering room under there as well, could fit 2 x 600's under there lovely. Great idea.

It's similar to this one only I bought a double, be ideal if you lived in a flat or had limited space?

I just need to remember I'm 5 feet up in the air when I go for a piss in the middle of the night................

I will let you know what they are like when the are set up.

What fans are you running at the moment?

I've got these running in the same house the tent will be set-up in. I have 4 in the loft (2 for each room) but in this weather I only need to use one per room. They are very quiet! BUT - they do not like the voltage controllers, when you turn the speed down they get louder?! and start to make a slightly strange sound. you have 3 speed choices - Hi/Low/off.

In short - If you are able to maintain a constant tempature with them running full speed all the time they are excellent, if you need to use a room controller they are no good.

(I will go into more detail on the set-up when I am able to post pictures)

i am curantly using a 6 inch 450m2 hour inline fan with acoustic ducting. its pretty quiet but you can hear a faint hum. iratates me slighty when im in bed trying to sleep. im gonna muffle it with bubble wrap prob. i was thinking of getting another fan for another room so i might consider what your looking at.
cheers

Wrap it in none itchy loft insulation,if your in the UK they sell it in B+Q, that will make a massive difference. Also have it hung LEVEL on elasticated bungee's. Do you have a room/fan controller?

Nah, no need to complicate a easy system. nature don't have one. Non-ichy insulation? maybe. i allready use bungies. The fan i use is a low power fan for its size so it sould be relatively quite. im a light sleeper thats the prob. i don't notice it in the daytime:eyesmoke:
