14h of no lightining

Today i swiched my lightining to 12/12(i thinked so), but when i came home and saw what happening in growbox, there was no light(period was 14H in the dark)... Something fucked up with timer... Now im thinking.. This cant transform my plants as hermies or sumtin?

no it shouldnt make them hermie. I have had similar things happen and everything was fine

The reason of my worries was posts in another forum where some ppl talked about this and they said, that this could make plant hermie and stuff like that, but they were not experienced some much in growin i think...

First, autoflowering strains don't care about light/dark period, in fact you shouldn't grow them under 12/12, you should do either 20/4 or 24/0. They can handle all the light you can throw at 'em, so give it to 'em. Anything less and you're reducing your yield.

Second, non-autoflowering strains can hermie from light pollution during "lights off" but not from extended darkness periods. What this means is you cannot interrupt the 12 hours of darkness, you can turn the lights on and off all you want during the "lights on" period, you can leave 'em in complete darkness for 24 hours, except for being hungry the plants won't care, but disturb the darkness period and you may get hermies.

Now I set the lights 20/4, before it was 18/6, so now my plant will grow as crazy haha.

My plant now is flowering and thats ok if I swich of 18/6 to 20/4 or not so good for my autoflower?

Autoflowering strains respond to more light with more growth. They don't care about light/dark periods like non-autos, it's just that simple.
