Holy shit.. I was happy to see the community thriving here and I just so happen to finally fulfill my love of indoor gardening and smoking something I created. Now things have relaxed and laws have made it much easier to round everything I needed to start my new garden. Taking everything I learned before I went with a KISS mentality. Keep It Simple Stupid. I have a spare room and calculated I oils fit a 4x8 flowering tent and the rest of the room would be 18hr vegging area with 2 4ft led lights at 5k lumens each. The veg is a 2x4 flood table for some sweet ebb n flo action. Seedlings/clones are in a 6 plant dwc in starter cubes and a dome. In the flowering tent I have a 1000w hps and room for a second if 1 isn’t enough. I plan on starting with a 6 bucket dwc setup then add 6 more and a second air pump. I have to get a couple inline fans for the light ventilation and ducting. Then carbon filter and fan, co2. My last grow was in 2008 and ended when I had to shut it down due to getting married. Life catches up and you have to stop doing things you enjoy. I decided on Skywalker OG for my swan song.. then I’d love to grow the classic strains. Stay tuned for updates. The plan is to get from 5 seeds to 12 full matured clones by July. So far 4 of the 5 have germinated.

Quick update. Just hit week 4. Amazing growth so far. Rooted well and filling out. I’ll top them and clone each before flowering in the near future. My flower tent is almost complete. Just need to pick up a co2 tank locally and it will be done.

Everything is set up. I decided to use the fan as a way to blow co2 onto the plants. Some zip ties, black air hose and a 2 way spitter. I still have to poke holes but you can get the idea. The tank and regulator will be close by. I might get a co2 controller to make it easier. I have to set the timers to sync and turn off exhaust while co2 is dispersed. I still need to rinse all the hydroton before filling up the last 6 buckets. That stuff is so dirty. It will muck up your water and clog up your pump/air stone. I’m hoping to switch to flowering next week.

All systems go. Started flower on 3 of the Skywalker ogs. They are a little shorter then I wanted but overall the are super healthy and ready to support some dank nugs. I was able to harvest 2 clones off each plant to feed the next generation. I have them in my homemade cloning rig. Super easy. Hardest part was cutting the lid. I have 1 of the Skywalker in my veg table. She will give me the next 6 clones. I’ll probably flower her then with the other plants that were from a friend if they sex female. Co2 is set up for 3 mins on 20 min off at level 7 on the floating gauge. Should be plenty for my 214 cubic inch. Now on the the pics. Feel free to comment. Week 6 of Skywalker OG flowing. Got nutrient burn on 1. I’m pretty sure it’s because some of the nutrients didn’t dissolve and ended up in the last plant refilled. Changed the bucket out and see what happens.
The 3 random seeds are 4 weeks in and the next 6 clones of the plants in week 6 are starting now.I cut 12 more clones and waiting for the last batch to root.

Whoops. Been awhile since I’ve updated. It’s been fun even with the few issues that popped up. So far I’ve stuck to my initial schedule and produce a harvest every month. Dialing in the nutrients wasn’t as forgiving as my older grows. The 6th harvest will be in less than a week. I still have 3 monthers in stasis that look like a hedgerow. Instead of being overrun with clones I don’t have room for I just let them grow and trim them a week before switching to flower. My flowering average has been around 1/2lb dry for 6 medium size under a 1000w hps. Cheers!!
