I am going to be growing just one plant for now, maybe two later. Do you guys think using a 150 hps light will be enough?? Going to be using at all stages: vegg and budding.

Thanks

Yes... but what are you expecting out of the one plant? I was going to have a grow with only a plant or two, but after doing the math, that wouldn't cover my smoking habits (unless I wanted to buy some weed between harvests)

I suggest you look into SoG or ScroG. You can make a couple of plants explode under that 150w hps.

:leaf:

LST it in a 5gallon buckit "soil"
veg for 4 weeks
if done right you can yeild 3-4 oz with that 150 watt

sog and scrog are technic you dont need to do

see of green = lot of plants grown all at the same time and height and close together
screen of green = 1or 2 plant grown streched under a screen, only letting the budz grow threw the screen

i use a 150 watt for up to three plants but they did not get the light that they needed. so i am only using it for my thai skunk now and shes beautiful...

I am difently going to the lst...that doesn't look that hard. My plant has two sets of the weed leaves and the third set I just popping up. So, I will just wait fir one more set to start then I will start tying it down. Thanks...and what is your opinion on fetilizer, what to use and when... Again my plant is a little over a month old and is just a little over 5 inches...thanks again buddy!!

Hey man, the 150W Hps will do you proud. I use one in my current grow which is in its final few weeks. I grew four small plants under it in a steath shelf set up using the lst method That is posted above. It was my first time training plants like that and it was easy and quite fun. Check out my journal, I'm sure it will help give you ideas. And I am happy to answer any questions. The 150w HPS is a great light to work with. Especially in a small space. Good to see more people using them. Check this out.

A 150w is perfect for one relatively short plant, say up to 3'. Great for short Indica strains. Make sure the surfaces/walls around it are reflective. Even just white paint. Helps.
