150 hps quick question

I want to start my plants indoor next year around march 20th, then i want to move them outside after about 2 months of veg and determining females.. since im going to do about 10 plants inside a grow tent i build, will one 150 hps be able to veg these plants decently for a couple of months, i dont want to go bigger as i wont be growing them complete, just want them to be about 1.5 feet tall before moving them out.

it will do yes,but what on earth is your reasoning in taking them outside after vegging them indoors?????

This will make for some big monsters transplanting them to outdoors...I will be doing the same thing next outdoor growing season. Same thing 150 watt Hps then transplant to outside after 2 months +

i have a 175 watt mh for veg and i don't think you could do 10 for a month. it would be enough for about 3 weeks then the ones not directly under it won't get enough light. i have 9 plants under mine and found that i had to add some cfl's and the outside ones were still not growing much.

hmm, yeah my reasoning is to create some huge monster bushes haha. I guess i could try and keep them short by spraying them with B-nine... but other than that i cant really do much besides hoping it works. im just trying to get them started nicely and get them growing strong. Then once they go outside put them directly into the ground and just keep trimming them so they become big and fat.
