Looks pretty good so far man. That screen should be nice and full in a couple weeks. Doesn't look like it but have you run into any problems yet? Also, where'd you get your 150 cmh from?

Yeah a couple weeks they should be coming on, I took those pics just after they went to the barber want the buds to get lots of light. I notice a change in them every day tho :) No problems with the plants, but I have gone through like three timers, I have to keep doing my light manually pain in the arse, hope fully I got that fixed now I got a contactor timer. My main worry is that in a couple month they will be too tall for the cupboard I got, the CMH is a good light doesn't chuck heat out like HPS, but still if the buds get too close it could be a problem. Bought the bulb off the internet mate its a philips protected one.

Couple more pics I snapped this morning smelling good :)

What sort of timers were you using before? The light seems to be doing very well, good node spacing coloring. Don't think you'll have much trouble with height since you're using a scrog, how much extra height you got currently? Hmm might look into getting a cmh to replace my 150 hps. Even if my temps only drop a couple degrees from the switch that'd still help, my temps are around 84-86 during the day. Can you send me the link for the bulb?

Interested to see how you do. I've wanted to try CMH's out myself. Best of luck with the grow, ryzla!

Just cheap ones, digital and mechanical but I found out that the inductive load was too high. Yeah its not bad for a 150, I got about a foot from the bulb to the screen so not much. Worst case I can tie the buds back towards the sides of the cupboard away from the light. I don't think they will stretch much though another 10 - 15 cm and it would be fine. The min distance from the light to the tops is about 15 cm but when I did that they stated to show signs of heat stress so I raised it. The link for the site mate http://advancedtechlighting.com/products.htm

Just took these now, starting to get a little sticky :)

You should be fine on height with what you've got, and glad to hear you have a plan for in case it does become an issue. Also, thanks for the link man, I'm gonna look into how much it would be to set one up. She's looking really good, should get a nice haul off of her. And don't worry about people not commenting too much, you're doing well and as the bud porn comes in people will show up.

No worries man, I hope you manage to get one, I cant say I am not happy with the way its performed so far. Thanks appreciate it, how much would you said I could get off them? Some more pics I snapped this morning, can see a difference every day its pretty cool. Enjoy.

Bud formation looks good, coming along nicely. What's the dimensions of your screen? Off my last 150 grow I got just over 2 oz, you should be able to get at least that off this plant, probably more. When you bought the bulb was it just one or did you have to purchase a case? The price it quoted me at was around $55 but not sure if that's for a single bulb.

30cm deep, 65cm length, 35cm from the bottom of the cupboard. Not that big. I would welcome a couple oz from her :) Would set me up for a while. I bought one bulb they are a bit pricey but I think over time they make up for it. Mine cost like 75 dollars with shipping to the UK which isn't bad, kind of expensive for a bulb though. I did my research before I made the investment found lots of theoretical information about CMH but not a lot of practice, especially for 150w. I wanted to try it out for my self. Apparently they give off UVB light which makes buds produce a lot of resin as a way of the plant protecting its self. I hope this is true.

Hey Ryzla, do you need a specific type of ballist for those CMH bulbs? or just a regular MH ballist? Can you get ceramic bulbs for HPS ballists?

Heyup Honkeycorn, just use an equivalent wattage hps magnetic ballast to the bulb you want to use. For instance a 400w CMH bulb would work in a 400w hps magnetic ballast. Don't use digital ballasts the bulb will not ignite. Hope this helps.

Yeah, second this. HPS magnetic ballasts only for CMH lights. There are a couple digi ballasts that you can use with CMH (and they'll say so in the marketing material,) but they're very expensive.

Looks like it's going well, ryzla!

Some pictures I took this afternoon. Any comments welcome.
