150w hps question

It's totally you call my friend but i woud go for proper ready made ballast. A grow tent is a massive fire hazzard at the best of times without the added risk of home made balast. I know it saves a bit of dollar but is it worth it if your neighbourhood is smoking your bud via a house fire for free.

By the time you've bought the capacitor and starter (which the kit needs) would it be much cheaper than one built?
But yeh, looks fine;but wait for more opinions...
(Edit) Fuck yeh!! What MrMeanGreen said! I wouldn't bother unless I was or knew an electrician.

wise decision but before you buy consider upgrading your wattage you will not regret spending a bit more on a 600 and and getting a new hps to match. Setting ya grow area is ike buying a car, the more you spend the more you get. My advise...... If you cut corners and scrimp now, you wil regtret it when you spend more of your hard earned cash on future upgrades and your old stuff goes on the shelf gathering dust. How do I know... coz i did the same with my fans, filters, lighting and nutes (fuck me al of it). Spent £700 on first rig then £1200 within 12 months on upgrades. Buy you gear slowly but buy quality. IMHO of course.
