150w hps

a 150w hps system would be enough to grow how many plants in what size of space?

3 plants? 4? please tell me what you think.

About a 14 x14 canopy, one square foot tall. For optimum lighting.

I run 4 small plants with a 150hps an a 175 MH in my cab.

And to get those close distances I had to seal the bulbs an vent the heat.
Train em small with lst an topping.

I am using a 150 w hps and am budding six plants right now.But i am also using 2 jumbo 68 watt { 300 watt equiv.} and six 26 watt 2700k.Using just the 150 i would say maybe a two by three area with three to four plants.Maybe.Also depends on the type of plants etc....I started with the 150 and ended up adding the rest as they grew.I have a three by four ft. box that is five feet tall.

I Grew from seed 2 Plants in Dirt, in a 2x3x8 Ft Closet, with a 150watt HPS light, It wasn't a professional grow because i was still learning, I yielded 3ounces on the 2 Plant which kept me medicated for a while! This time around i added a 64 Watt and 2 42 Watt CFLs for 4 Plant Scrogg.
