New Grower here! I transplanted my indoor seedling to a 5 gallon hydroponic system from some peat 3 days ago when the plant was about 12 days old. The plant has been drooping since about the day after the transplant and it is now 16 days old in the pictures.

Transplant stress. She was establishing feeding roots in the peat, and there a good chance that you damaged them stripping the peat away. Is that styrene that you have her lodged in? Where are your clay pellets? Rock wool plug, washed gravel would even work. Roots don't like light. Even in a hydroponic set up there needs to me something blocking light to the root zone and holding the little sprout in place. In my opinion, right now, she's dying. I'm sorry.

it was a measure i had to take to support the stem as the clay pellets wouldn't have because she had stretched early on. i did slit the foam in an x so that it doesn't squeeze and allows for room to grow. once the root gets thicker i will be adding the clay pellets. My father in law does the same things with his clones in styrofoam so i didnt think it would be an issue?

I'm no guru, and only have a few dwc grows under my belt since I switched to coco. Can your FiL come look and see if he doing something different? If I'm going water culture of any sort their roots never touch soil, peat or coco.
