16 days into flower and no signs

Hello my fellow growers

Have been growing for 2 years but this is my first LED/hydrophonics grow, I em AMAZED how fast everything is growing in hydrophonics VS soil! But this is also my first LED grow and I heard from a friend later that some leds does not activate the flower. I told him this was bullshit since I was sure the 12 H dark period activated the flower.. But now 16 days into flower I got no signs and I em starting to think he was right sorry for no pics, its really not necessary I know its no signs yet thanks for all serious answers!!

I've never heard of a LED to be the reason a plant won't flower.

maybe a light leak somewhere or slow flowering strain.

16 days into flower there should deff be signs of budding no matter what kind of light ya use.

Ya check for light leaks. Or if your using a timer is it working properly?

like people alrrdy posted itsd porobably a light leak. if not, what temps you have? strain? ph? There are many factors but in the end it all comes down to hormones.
Also i've heard a lot of bad thing about using LED for bloom even tho its grat for veg. But i have never ( and probably will never.. ) tried LED since it cant beat HID lights.

Altho i knwo there are SOME LED armatures that do the trick they just cant compare to HID + even the good leds are worse than HID and the good ones are the most expensive ones!!!!

I had a strain who had perfect conditions and no lightleaks or anything! took 3 weeks to start flower and a total of 14 weeks!

It no chance for light leaks as i use tents.
I guess i just was a little unpatient^^
They are showing signs today! 19 days into

Going to use a combo of led and hps from now on
