Sativas are nute picky they burn easy. You want to harvest a sativa with mostly clear and a few cloudy trics( IMO ) most indicas will take to force feeding and are pigs. Harvest when trics are mostly cloudy and a few amber. Some sativas can go till 24 weeks before they are ready( so I read ). Yes chop now ! better to under feed then to over feed!

Dude you need to go and buy The Indoor / Outdoor Medical Marijuana Grower Bible. Get answers from a professional who's lifetime work has been cannabis cultivation. Stop looking to the forum for answers because you will get a variance of answers and we really cant give you the right answers anyways because every grow is different. Go and get that book and read it when your done read it again it will take the ignorance out of your grows. While your at the book store or on amazon get the Marijuana Garden Saver too. If your serious about growing those two books are the best investment you can make trust me
