175W HPS Closet grow

dude your plant looks amazing!! id kill to get a hold of some of that!! definately stress it into hermie or even sacrifice some cuttings for a few clones to try turn hermie later? shit if you end up with seed id pay ample for some and keep it in perpetual bubbleponics grow so it never dies!
 
you got that beautiful plant from one small grow light? how much is it running your electric bill each month cause i'm gonna be doing the same thing real soon?

Its only 175W so it doesn't really make much of a difference, i can't pinpoint a number sorry.. Although the reason the plant is so nice is mostly because of genetics, the light is only adequate enough to fill its basic light needs :P Im sure more light would yield considerably more bud. Although my plant was intentionally kept relatively small. But you should have no problems keeping a small plant or two with this light
 
Looking nice man. I wish I had a strain that frosty. :) Should've made it a mother and cloned it out, but oh well. Going to be some godly smoke I imagine. Be well and enjoy the shit out of it.
 
Looks awesome man. Yeah if it's such great genetics and you really enjoyed the strain, you probably should have let it veg a little longer then took a few clones before you put it in flower, but oh well. I'm not an expert on cloning, but I think it's still possible to clone it this far along and re-veg it.

Because i've already mentioned like four different times that keeping a mother is really not a possibility for me at this point. What I really wanted were seeds.

So at this point, its really not a problem to get more clones from the source. So i fully intend on getting two more, using a tech i've read about to give the ladies a sex change, making one of them male. Then from there i will use the pollen from big poppa to pollinate the mumma, and then she'll have little baby beans with the magical genetics i love so much. Thats the plan anyway.

Well I'm not one to argue with people on the internet, but since you pretty much called me out and made me feel like an asshole after I complimented you on your grow, I feel compelled.

After reading through the entire thread again, you make no mention about not being able to keep a mother. All you said was something along the lines of "I know I won't be able to keep a mother forever" which to me meant that yeah you could keep one, but at some point you would move and have to get rid of it, or kill it, or something along those lines. Not that you didn't have the room for it.

Second, you pretty much made it sound like you've been waiting years for said clone and practically had to give your left nut or first born for it or something. So, I was under the impression another clone might be hard to get since you only have 2 nuts and your second born might be a little too much. So, that's why I threw out the clone and re-veg idea. Just to be clear, you can always just keep taking clones of those clones. You don't necessarily have to keep a mother around. But since you clarified in your last post that you can get clones whenever you want, I'll leave it alone. Sorry for trying to help and give your thread the attention you seemed to be desperately seeking.

Whoa whoa whoa man... you obviously got the wrong idea. I wasn't trying to call you out, and certainly wasn't trying to make you look like an asshole. I think you're just a wee bit too sensitive on this one.. Im not sure why you want to argue? or even what you're arguing about??

I will apologize though, as I have multiple threads on this subject in a few different forums, in which I have addressed several times that i cannot keep a mother. I'm sorry for mixing up my threads. But I still don't understand why you flipped your lid? That is HARDLY calling you out, or even an insult or w.e you wanna call it. I was simply just stating a fact, whether it was in THIS thread, this forum, or another.. it really doesn't matter. If ANYONE looks like an asshole its me, because anyone whose read THIS thread would clearly notice that I did NOT mention this four times. (in this thread)

I think you need to settle down just a bit, don't take things so personal. I apologize for confusing my threads, and i DO appreciate the help/information. From everyone.


and P.S. The reason it was so hard to get a clone was because i had NO IDEA who the bud was actually coming from, nevermind who was GROWING it. Now i know both. So its not an issue to get another clone at THIS point.

Funny thing is, I wasn't even aware it was a purple strain... I basically got these colors from the cool temps around 60F, but anything above that and it wont turn at all
