Too hot!

MH only uses 6500K and HPS 2600K.

18,000 Kelvin is way too much.

i use a 18 000 T8 with my 2 6500 T5's and my plants love it. I often have to move the light or rotate the plants as they move towards the more purple 18 000 light.

I dont think it is too much.
The question is, is it anything the plant can use?.
I think the plants will enjoy the extra spectrum.

Are you using them for the veg or bloom cycle? Either way it is basically usless since you need around 3000 k or above and 6500 k max for veg.

I will be using these lights all the way through

i found a few timers laying around...at 5 30 am 1 timer turns on the lower kelvin lumins... 2 2300 k 42 watters and 2 2700k then 3 hours lqater at 830 am my other timer kicks on and turns on the day lite lamps which are directly over top the plant. 3 hours later my last timer turns on shining my 6400 and 65 and 67 ks and then 8 hours later . timers start switching off the lighst accordig to the atmosphere shielding the higher kelvin rays.,.. big perm!
