your in a decent soil, don't scare urself with ph, just grow, U aint in hydro.
What prompted you to check the ph?
Can we see any pics?
Also exactly how did you test the ph,
Yeah I kinda figured out this probe thing is a waste of time and money after that that PH scare. Like I said this is only my second attempt so I will spend a lil more money on things like a real ph pen next time. I didn't want to dump a bunch of money into it if it was something I wasn't going to be able to accomplish. I really appreciate everyone's opinions and advice. Thanks y'allThey look great.
Soil probes in my opinion are pretty useless.
You can figure out when to water.
If you want to ph get a real pen
And get a ppm meter.
Best of luck.
I am sorry to bother you again... but my plant is doing something and I don't know what is wrong. I haven't added any nutes at all its been in the beginning flowering stage for about a week. I've attached some pics so you can see, and maybe give me idea. The leafs are curling and if you look closely some of the new growth leafs look burnt or something I don't know if I am being paranoid or if my baby is needing something but I can't figure it out. PH is 6.3. Thanks in advance for any advice you can giveThere is zero reason to " flush " FFOF ... You will not change it , it is highly amended right out of the bag. It is PREBUFFERED ( for PH ) at 6.3 ( oyster shell ) for control.
It will carry a plant by itself thru 5 weeks easily . If you are satisfied with VEG SIZE then you can flip it. Remember plant will grow double during transition / stretch.
Forget trying to LEACH out some PH ... Just PH your water and feed mixes PRIOR to adding. Forget checking runoff and all that ... It just complicates things ....
If the PH of your " liquids " going into medium is in acceptable RANGE the plant can have what it needs.
CALMAG is one of those " standby " ingredients that everyone should have , in case they need it. But excessive flushing / wet overwatered medium / and screwing with light schedules will definitely bite you in the ass.
if you are ready to flower , then just flip it. Begin " bloom " nutes around week 2 of flower , plant will pull nitro from mix for stretch during first two weeks of flower. Once stretch stops all she will need is more P and K. I usually run FFOF by itself as LONG as it will go before I see any deficiencies. Then I either make a tea out of a scoop or two of the soil and drench . Or top dress some more for a quick water in boost.
Keep things simple and it will pay off.
Overwatered. Let it dry out.I am sorry to bother you again... but my plant is doing something and I don't know what is wrong.
