18 days growing, doing great 400W!

my babies that were started with a wack soil mix of MiracleGro organic bullshit, mg seedling

starter, and scotts potting soil and i got all these stupid fungus gnats n the plants were lookin

fucking weird for first 10 or 12 days, also the light (400w MH) was on 24/7 and they

started looking a little strained out, so i switched to 18 on - 6 off. i transplanted into FoxFarm

Ocean Forest soil and started using SuperThrive with every watering now and the plants

seem to be loving the change.. germinated the seeds on march 13th, planted on march 17th, took these pics april 3rd....what do you think??

weird, I thought Miracle Gro was the best available....hmm glad you cured your fungus gnat problems with a switch to Ocean Forest!!

hey man no offense, but by after havng 4,859 posts i would think you would know by now that MG is prob the worst for indoor growing, im curious on why you think it may be the best?

yeah this is the 2nd time i tried using it and the second time i had this problem...its like the soil is pre packaged with gnat larvae or somethin

looking good, they should really take off now

now i buy a lowes 2 cf. moisture mix soil, & mix it with a bag each of spagnum moss, perlite, & vermiculite. my plants love it & have great drainage.
