yeilded 18 oz dry from 12 plants in a 76" X 76" x 76" grow tent. All in Foxfarm ocean forest soil under one 1000w hps air cooled lamp . Did SOG until got around pot and were bushes. Any suggestions to yeild more in same set-up. Moving to a Titan Controls Flo-N-Gro system 12 pots. CO2 broke during veg last time so didn't have it at all during flowering. Grew Dutch Passions Khola from clone. Next Indoor is G13 Pineapple express. Have a mother going now to take clones. Any help to make next harvest larger? Please Please HELP

Yea Def had some nutrient problems thats why I am switching to Hydro since it will be easier to maintain than soil and less mess. What other details are you looking for. I used 3 foxfarm nutrients for flowering. Also room is temperature controlled by a A/C. Thinking of putting single tube t-5 in each corner also. Had a air-purifier/ionzer/UV-ray bacteria killer in there. Exaust thru a carbon filter. and seperate fan to air cool light. I could touch the 1000 w reflector and it was just warm. Some miscues during it like ballast broke one day and def nutrient problems. Hopefully can only improve. Im thinking changing to two 600 watt air cooled lights to cover more space instead of the one 1000w hps that was stationary and we just rotated the plants around to get equal lighting

strain definatly is #1 on determing your yeild. veg time the longer you veg the bigger the plant finishes, and 18 plants 1 1000watt light might be stretching it. each hood only does a 4ft area. id say but im not a expert. i do 12 under each 1000w and get good light into the leaves with reflective material to help, nutes im told play a good role in harvest and making sure you dont harvest to soon because you can miss the swell of the buds Hope this helps alittle Good luck !!

If your using the whole tent, you definitely need more light. 6x6 is best covered with 4x600w. They cover 3x3 each very well. You'll need at least 750CFM to cool them and another fan circuit to cool/refresh the room. 18 bags will only be a bad memory with this set up.

There were 12 plants not 18. I yeilded 18 OZ from 12 plants. It was Dutch Passion Khola. There is a error for it tho on the strain list because it says 7.6 percent thc and its def way more than that. One to two hits is all you need. yea I am thinking of switching to two 600 W. The light coverage depends on how far you are from the plants. Its just less strength the higher you go up. My 1000w hps is located direcdtly in the middle and as at the top of the tent. 3" Air cooled hoods w vent. I have two 4" fans that get blown around the room.
Aside from genetics, increasing yield is all about experience and getting everything dialed in.
Anything you change is a new learning curve and pretty much puts you back at square one. Like switching to hydro for example. That's not going to increase anything until you learn how to make it work for you.
Pick the genetics, the method and then work on the nuances for several runs. The yield will come up.
Doing everything exactly like the first time but using 2-600w instead of 1-1kw would be along those lines, not changing everything but the size of your tent and expecting ... ?????

14.8 ounces 9 plants 600 watt scrog 7 day veg ebb and flo hydroton ff nutes topped out @ 1750ppm 6.o ph 78* co2 880ppm in a 3x3x5.5 cabinet.....epic first hydro grow hell i was away every week for 5 days at a time
