1mx1mx2m 400W cooltube tent

Hi,

Can anyone comment on this grow tent / cooltube setup?

Obviously I would need to add some cooling and its going to be pretty low end stuff but I hoping it would be a reasonable enough setup for my first grow. In the beginning I only intend to grow one plant at a time, if I want to add a mother later I would do it in a separate box.

Try craigslist before u settle onthis
looks like a good setup tho

275 usd for a tent, light, cooltube and ballast seems like a pretty sweet deal. here in europe you pay 150 usd for a 400w light+ ballast alone.

edit: you may not like the cool tube because it doesnt spread light aswell as a cool hood

Out of interest do you have a link to the light & ballast you would buy in europe for 150? Just so I got something to compare it to. I can get the tent by itself for $120ish so if I found a better light I would buy it seperately. Im sure the tent will be fine, its the quality of the light that I wonder about.

Will the light I get out of the 400w cooltube be enough for one plant? Would 2 be a stretch?

Managed to get a 50 x 90 x 160cm tent and a 600w hps lamp with reflector (not cooltube) 2nd hand. Is 600w too big for this tent?

you will certainly need a cooltube or coolhood or it will get too warm too fast
