1st Attempt at growing!

so i sprouted my seeds, in the dark..got my soil and planted them...put them inside by my empty room in my crib. built a little reflective backing for it. got a thermometer next to it..
they grew an inch like by the 2nd day by the window...one of them is doing reallly good but theres 2 in a blue clear glasses that isnt that great...i tihnk its too hot or somthing cause their limp...but when i checked on them today they were standin tall but after when i took these pictures...well check them out

the ones in the blue cups are dead due to drowning.the stems should not be red.the red stems indicate the water inside them.and dont use see through cups use proper small 4" pots to start with proper holes in the bottom.do these blue cups have any drainage holes.the holes in proper pots serve two purposes to drain exess water and provide ventilation for the roots.you should never water till it runs out the holes thats too much.overwatering is a common mistake i have done it myself.these seedlings wont recover.fact.

ummm they did...their standin tall again...and all the cups dont got drainage holes...i donno ill post more pictures..but i dont tihnk their dead..cause they grew like an inch...

well right now im settin up my closet,
but my plants are by the window in my empty room, facing west..
their growin...i have 3 plants in 1 cup...they just started to grow just today...
its nothing too special...just natural sun when its shinning...

but for my closet i got 2 20watts agrosun 2 feet tubes...in a basic (i donno the sizes) closet i built last night...ill take pictures

moved my plants from the window ledge to my closet..
they doing better than before

i took more but my cheap ass digicam is shit...all blurry
i think the 2nd one is dying...hope i can save it..
and i need to seperate the 3 in the first cup..i know

are you having any problems?
cause one of my plants arint really growin...the 2nd one in the blue cup...its been like that for a few days now..

is that a fuck you or a fuck yeah?
no need to be nasty if its the first one lol or if its the second one then lol positive vibes are good for plants. Seedling quite often appear to stop growing for bout a week while they grow roots, u will notice them growing in spurts eg. taller for a few days and bushier for a few days.

its dead due to overwatering.and not being in a proper pot.
you can tell its overwatered by the red stem.look at the difference in all your seedling stems.red= overwatered. green=ok. the stem sucks up the water to the leaves.so you want the stems showing only traces of red witch will look like red veins in the stem going up making the stem look like its got stripes.and get some proper pots your seedling roots need to breathe and so does the soil.

yea eh...i think its the wet soil i put on the bottom..it didnt really dry out...
well im gonna repot them tmr so i hope i can help it...the leaves are stil green though

Drainage is KEY! you should have almost taken the bottom of those cups apart, heat up the tip of a screwdriver really hot and poke holes in the bottoms of the cups or whated next time, there is not too much drainage on the bottom..... unless the bottom is completely cut out and cant hold soil! lol

you need to transplant into new cups or something right away, and cut a lot of holes in the cups this time man, the soil needs to be able to dry or everything will rot out...

I suggest u get some 88 cent pots from walmart. separate the three that are in the same cup, and put them into their own pots.

change the soil asap, bcuz they wont like what ur using when they get older.

for starters U can use miracle gro potting mix (the regular stuff) for like $3.77 at walmart and while ur there, pick up a bag of miracle gro perlite for about $3.50. mix both bags together, it'll become an even 50/50 mix and ur plants will like it a lot.

for a more advanced soil mix U could grab some fox farms oceans forest from a hydro store and mix it in there also, it'll become a three way mix and it'll have the micronutrients from the fox farms that it wont get from miracle gro.

oh yea, ur plants are growing right on track but ur plants speed depends on how much DIRECT light u put on ur plants and for how long. it also depends greatly on genetics and sex.

and ur seedlings arent under watered or over watered. theyre fine, right now look out for any mutations.
