1st Attempt at growing!

hey bro few tips 1 get your light as close to your plant as possabale and put holes at the bottom of your cups for fe reasons 1 drainage and 2 air vents see ya online bro peace in cabnet

so i waited a few days like 2 to be exact, got new nutrients from rona for like 3 dollars, added to my water sprayed it...waited a day but they look better..

i just wanted to know why my biggest plant has yellow leaves?
attachment.php

its like greenish yellow, i read from this chart;
SYMPTOMS N P K Ca S Mg
Yellow Lower Leaves Yes Yes Yes No No Yes
Cannabis Nutrient and Deficiency Table

and i was wondering where i could get some MAGNESIUM (Mg) cause i looked but cant find any

so anyone know why my bottom leaves are yellow...cause it looks wrost today

these are the seed leaves and are not true leaves they are called cotyledon's.they are supposed to be that colour and will eventually curl up and die or fall off.check out this for your help. Cotyledon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

now you can see a healthy green stem not an overwatered red floppy fucker like before.nice pots keep it going.

LUDA.

^^Correct.

so anyone know why my bottom leaves are yellow...cause it looks wrost today

also when ur cotyl's begin to yellow thats a good sign that its ready to recieve nutrients.
usually U wait 2 weeks after they sprout to begin feeding, either that or when they cotyl's begin to yellow..whichever happens first.

great move on the pots, and NO U dont need additional lights YET, but in about 2 weeks U will need more lights.
nice job!
:peace:

Good work man! and like they said those leaves naturally die off about at that time in the plants life. so your looking good! Much better than b4! keep at it man! :joint::joint:

You always need more light and ventilation with little first time grows.. For that matter, as already stated, you always need more drainage.. And I'll warn you ahead of time that if you actually see this through, little first time grows always need more odour control..
And that doesn't even begin to adress the fact that little first time grows always need better nutrient/pH management.. I mean you must have pretty giant balls to try foliar feeding with hardware store garden nutrients! I mean, you must have planetoids in your gitches..:)
If you want to foliar feed, then get a mild organic fert, dilute it, avoid spraying while in hot/direct light, and also spray them with pH'd water a while after so you keep your leaves clean.. Carbonated water can even add some CO2..
Next time you go to Rona, see if they carry HPS security lights.. Might not be as cheap as their cfl's and nutes, but the only other lighting I can suggest with good conscience is direct sunlight.. Preferably even more direct than the best window sill..
If you don't slack off, and let them dry out, I find its best to !gouge! seedling pots, and run a fan in soil direction.. Rapid turnaround from wet to dry to wet is best for root growth..

what does "planetoids in your gitches" mean?
cause i got no clue..but yea..i aint too scared for the odour..
but i do need more lights...i been looking for some...
cause i noticed that my plants grow but they grow slow...but in a way its good cause i got time to take smaller steps. and shit

took new pictures...growin steady...
need new lights...they cant share forever,
so i bought some was told it would be here today..
but mehh its all good.

looks good they are definetly growing........ this is my first time too and i got 2 females...... out of 3..... have some others but haven't started to preflower. good luck and i will come back to check on your grow. One of the best things since your plant stays in veg for awhile is to READ up . Yeah people say its not hard but they know EXACTLY what to look for. I had to do a lot of reading to understand a lot more than i thought i did...... good luck... i will be checking back with you soon
