1st autoflower grow journal, blue Himalayan diesel and short stuff dr feel good

Hello all I decided to start a grow journal for my first grow because most of you guys are awesome and will help me if something goes wrong! I am using stealthyhydro.com's grow buddy. I chose autos so I can not only have a quick supply but I can make a little money and get myself a better setup as this one is very small (24x16x9.5). It also featured an intake and exhaust fan, pump, oxygenator, three of each bulbs, carbon filter and unfortunately it came with cheap nutrients but a friend of mine has some fox farm that hopefully I will get before I need it. Anyway I started off with 8 seeds and a bunch of seeds my friend gave me of a blueberry haze x Mr nice guy, which when he grew it was Amazing. I bought short stuff seeds from worldwide seedbank they only make autos so I figured they would have a great selection. 2 regular blue Himalayan diesels, 2 regular shark bites, 1 fem dr feel good, 1 fem blue Himalayan and they gave me a fem dineafam critical+ auto and dinefam white widow fem. I started off safe and planted the 4 regulars Soaked the seeds before germinating fully I planted in peat pellets and unfortunately all but one blue Himalayan were duds but to be honest it could of been the shark bite lol I forgot which one I put in the front and which one I put in the back. Anyway thanks to some help from a few of you guys, I germinated the right way the other four seeds and one of my friends seeds. Again unfornately I am pretty sure the last regular seed wilted and I pulled it, but once again to be honest it could of been the white widow or the critical+. The only ones I know for sure are the blue Himalayan diesel, my friends seed and the dr feels old are all definitely there. I don't know how to upload images from my iPad so Ill have to email myself the picture and try to post later. But right now I can tell you the blue himalayan diesel is 6 days old, the two unknowns are 5 days old( either they are shark bite, blue himayalan, critical + or white widow) Ill know for sure later if one doesnt flower it will be the white widow, if any end up males I'll know it either the shark bite or blue Himalayan( also ill know if it the blue himayalan if it looks a lot like the other) and obviously the odd ball looking one would be critical + the only way I wouldn't be able to extinguish is if the sharkbite is a female and the critical + is there. The last two the dr feel good and mr nice guy x blueberry haze are 3 days old. Thanks for viewing and I hope to have some followers throughout my grow. All my grower friends only use soil so I am hoping that some hydro heads that will help me through this.

ok so the first two on top are the 2 "unknowns" the next is the dr feel good which i will be transferring to hydroton later today. The first on the bottom is the fem blue himalayan, the middle is nothing and the last is the blueberry haze hybrid. I will be buying another system just like this that i saw on ebay the only difference between the two is this one uses 3 bulbs the other uses two, the newer one is 28" tall and also has a light timer. Am I correct in assuming that the ones that grow the tallest are probably the photoperiod ones. I only assumed because the dr feel good sprouted about 6-8 hours earlier then the hybrid but it has already passed it. Also to be clear when I say they are 6 days old i mean that today would be the 6th day. I think so far they look pretty good except for the first one with the mutation which idk if its a good thing or a bad thing.

I just got some foam collars so I tried them with the dr feel good. The roots are almost twice the size they were yesterday! also i gave you a close up of the mutation, it has changed alot since it first started.

I put foam collars on everything to distinguish the difference easier and because I thought I saw a difference in root growth. Either way red=unknown(for now), yellow= Dr feel good, Blue= blue himayalan diesel, green= blueberry hazex mr nice guy, orange= mutation(also for now unknown)

9, 8 and 6 days old

I posted an extra picture of the bhd because I think I gave a little nute burn, but maybe not I only gave 1ml diluted nute solution. Also the mutation looks terrible but it looked this way even before adding nutes. anyone know why?

Usually isn't too much to worry about with mutations, I read last night that it can be caused by too much humidity during germ, or even just genetics. I'm sure someone else may be able to hash it out in more detail. Other than that it's looking good, I added nutes a bit too early on my grow, saw some evidence of nute burn and decided to flush today. Looks like you may be dealing with the same thing. I'll be looking to add 1/4 strength nutes around the 3rd week or so. You can keep an eye on my grow as well as it seems that we're doing ours pretty similarly. I'm subbed.

I had a busy weekend time to update starting where I left off.

yesterday I had to take a picture of the roots of the blue himalayan. I also wanted to show the heights of the plants and of course a top view. Now I will take todays pics and post.

I am ordering a ph meter and ppm meter online because I can get both for $20 including shipping. I currently am using ph test strips and double checking with ph test liquid but its so hard to tell the difference between 5 and 5.5 and my ph dropped to around there but it could be less I just put 1ml ph up and will retest soon. Also my new system arrives tomorrow so I will be transferring the non autos as soon as sex shows on the autos. Also I added 2ml of nutes today because all plants are over 10 days we will see how that goes. I figured it wouldn't be a bad idea considering Saturday I plan on changing the Reservior anyway.

Try the paper towel method for germinating next time .. Did you wait to see a tap root on the seeds before putting them in the peat? .. Or maybe the were duds but ive had 100% germination with short stuff beans

Yea the first four I messed up, first off I planted before the taproot was showing then I kept messing around with the peat pellets digging out to see the progress, the taproots ended up coming but I think the peat pellets were too soaked and they ended up dying. I will stay with short stuff my next order will be the mix pack. I wanna get regular seeds though because I like shorts stuff genetics the bhd is supersized compared to everything else... I will post today's pics tomorrow and also post new pics for tomorrow. I only wanted them to be 18"-20" tops because of the box I'm growing in but the bhd looks like I might have to move at this point I will be surprised if it doesn't hit the projected 18". Short stuff says most of there plants stay within 10"-16" but the way it looks I'll be surprised if they only get to 16". I am just trying to get a half per plant or 3 oz total anything more and I'll be excited. Where Im at 2.5 oz is the most you can legally have cured. I think I'm doing pretty good for my first grow( even with the nute burns I have gave my plants)
