1st grade poll

My first grader told me about a poll they took in school today. They were asked who they would vote for if they could vote.

I asked my son if he voted for Gary Johnson. He said that he would have, but only Obama and Romney were an option. He then told me that he voted for Romney.

The results:
67% Romney
33% Obama

Proving two things:
1.) The two party system is being taught to 6 year olds. No other options.

2.) 6 year olders are smarter than liberals. LOL!

And they find a sneaky way to find out who's parents
are talking about what. Funny and scarey at the same time.

True. But most teachers of young children I know are completely stupid, and it wouldn't even cross their mind to do that.

Kelly,
Was it a Jesus school, or was the teacher pissed at the results?
LOL I would be more interested in the ethnicity of the students. Kids that young usually gravitate to what they're familiar with. A larger number of white kids would mean a higher percentage of votes for the white candidate. A six year old isn't going to comprehend the complex issues involved in this election. At least not enough to influence their vote one way or the other. Or, they could just be parroting what they hear from the adults in their families.

Even though he's just parroting me , I was proud that he wanted to vote for Johnson. He earned himself an ice cream.

when i was in grade school, i was an ardent supporter of Papa Smurf. His leadership and integrity helped Smurf Village through the turbulkent days of Gargamel's assaults and ensured their economy was never disrupted not even by Aazrael.

Yeah because children aren't easily duped by lies right?
Like the lies Rmoney has been telling for the past six months.

I mean it's ridiculous to even put any value in a poll like that.
It either represents what the parents like or it represents their screwed opinion of a person due to the constant shit talking, lying and ad-campaining which has no relation to facts, reason or logic.

It just goes to show how easy it is to dupe people.
In this case, easily controlled subjects like children.
On the grand scale, ingrate republicans who will believe anything they hear as long as it goes against the black guy.

Who cares about facts rights? Long live ignorance..

Or it could simply be that Romney's name was listed first.

Is that an Obama quote?

Good one -.- Nah man that was just something I thought up on the spot.
I use it quite a lot when I speak with ignorant people.

As I've quoted before; if someone doesn't value facts, what argument can we use to show the value of facts? If someone doesn't value reason or logic, what reasonable logical argument can we use to show the value of reason and logic?
If this is the case then the discussion is over, not one pertinent thing can be extracted by discussing with ignorant people.

LOL! Maybe it's because you're sexist, like UB. Papa Smurf assured that only one woman lived in the village.

Pretty Smurfy, huh?

Yeah, Papa tried hard, but couldn't get them over the hump. Over all them years they never got off the forest floor. They lived in those government mushrooms forever. Screw Papa Smurf. Papa Smurf's hand was in every cookie jar.

Right because I'm clearly worked up *sigh*.

All I said was that to even give any credit to 6 year olds polls on politics is ridiculous and just shows how twisted your society is when it's so easy for liars to make people believe their theories.

You are the only one giving any credit to this poll. We're talking about Smurfs and their communal style of forest living. Feel free to join in...

I bet my 6 year old knows more about Gary Johnson than most of adult Americans.
