What up guys, I'm a new grower and a new-ish forum member. Although this is my first post don't get discriminated from continuing reading.
I don't have any pictures of the plant growing from seed, I only have pictures from now (3rd week of flowering). The reason being, I honestly wasn't even sure if I could keep the plant alive and I didn't want to post a failure. But now, 3 weeks into flowering and I am feeling much more confident in myself.
For my setup I have a 4'x4'x6' grow area enclosed and sealed, unfortunately I don't have any kind of reflective material in my grow area (super-low budget grow). I'm running (5) 42Watt 2700K CFL's pushing out 2,700 lumens a piece, totaling with 210 watts and 13,500 lumens. 3 of the bulbs are in 10" aluminum reflectors while the other 2 are in 7.5" aluminum reflectors. I have an oscillating fan in my grow area as well as 1 intake fan and 2 exhaust fans.
I decided to grow in soil considering it was the safest idea for a new grower such as myself. The seed was from a bag of mids. Crazy thing is I only picked out one seed and it turned out to be a female.
For the first month or so I was growing outside. I would usually keep the plant inside at night and take it out every morning and leave it until the sun went down. It got beat up here and there from the weather and from user-mistakes (over watering). But I learned quickly and began taking better care of my baby.
Once I built the grow room the plant soon went into flowering. I can't remember exactly but the plant was somewhere between 1' and 1' 6" when I switched the lights. Also when I switched the lights I had transplanted the plant into a 5 gallon bucket because it was root-bound like a mofo (my bad).
I'm using general household plant fertilizers, so don't expect much. I used an 8-7-6 formula when in vegging and I'm using a 3-10-3 formula right now along with epsom salt and egg shells. Watering 1 gallon every 4-5 days with 3ml of 3-10-3 and a pinch of epsom salt/eggshell.
I also foliar feed the plant as soon as the lights turn on everyday.
I over fertilized the plant about 2 weeks ago which left some of the plant with a mild nutrient burn, but luckily it happened before the buds started coming in (still must not be very good).
I know this wasn't super detailed but I just wanted to get a journal started so I could get some support/input.
How big of a plant does a 5 gallon bucket support? As big as my plant is now (2'3"), will I have to transplant again/soon?
Today is exactly 3 weeks into flowering. I figured it would take another 3-5 weeks for it to be ready to harvest, does that sound right?
*PICS WILL BE UP SOON*
