Hello RIU community, what's up?
As the title says, this is my first grow so I've decided to post a thread here because I'm still a noob grower and any help or advice would be appreciated. Anyway, I have a plant that has been severely neglected in her seedling stage so she lost about 3-4 weeks but after I'd set proper conditions she kinda exploded in growth and branching. Today she is 8 weeks from seed, but since she lost 4 I suppose it's actually her 4th week or at least somewhere around that. Here are the pictures so pls feel free to tell me what you think.
Note. I've started feeding her some seaweed based organic nutes every other watering (which is approx. every 8 days) and she seems to enjoy it.

Cool! It looks like she is all better now. Some yellow leaves at the bottom but since you said she was stress early on, it should be fine.
What is your medium? Pot size/volume? I would probably fill the pot with more medium/soil too. Autos are more manageable as far as sizes goes, but remember that cannabis tends to double in size during flowering so if space could be a problem you might wanna try LST or Scrog to make the most out of your grow space.
Good luck!

Yea, about those leaves...i noticed yellowing a few days back but it's mostly on lower fan leaves where I also saw some burned tips but thats due to nute feeding she underwent yesterday. Other than that, she seems pretty happy and I guess that yellowing is connected to her focusing all her energy on those (I think 8) colas.
About lst, Im surprised you haven't noticed those blue strings tied to the pot. I did lst few weeks ago and that's how I got those 8 colas instead of single big one.
I should also mention that I burried the stem after transplanting from bad conditions (yea, i know its bad but I had to do it) and since then she literally exploded.
I grow in soil (I wish I could tell u which one but the truth is I just took some from my mom since she's now all into that balcony gardening stuff and the plant seems to like it so far), 1 gallon bucket. I was gonna add some more soil but I honestly forgot. When I first transplanted the soil was about half an inch below the upper edge but I guess the plant tightened it together as it grew. Well anyway, such things you must learn along the way if you're still a noob like me.

Can anyone also tell me when is the time to stop with lst and remove the strings? Should I be worried about that yellow fan leaves at the bottom? And finally, can anyone guess approx what the yield could be?

It don't work like that ...8 weeks from seed is 8 weeks from seed

ensure you have a 3usg

And if anyone wonders, its Royal Queen Seeds easy bud auto :)
Thanks but if shes 8 weeks old why is she then acting like a 4-5 week old plant? Since its an auto plant, when do you think it will finish considering she just showed first pistils 5-6 days ago?
You can remove the strings if you like but I would leave them on to keep the light penetration going you got right now. No worries on the lower leaves they yellow and fluf off anyway. Yeild is anyones guess you will hear mstly about a pound lol, it all depends on life cycle how it was treated etc, and what the strain can do. Autos are in a race to the end from the begining, as such you really dont want to top it will slow it down. Pistols is good, going into flowering is fun times, I am 2 weeks behind you with my chamber. It should finish in around 8 weeks from now. MD

Yea i got that answer already but I was asking for a more concrete, optimal answer considering the strain and conditions, not a mockery and exaggeration.
Well i thought of leaving the strings for a little longer, but im afraid it can hurt the plant now when shes starting to fatten up :/

I hear you and I am sorry I dont have that info myself, you should be trained well enough and woody now they will probably stay right where you trained them too.

One thing I still dont get is if autos are on a time clock, why is my easy bud then acting like a 4 weeks plant just going into flowerng? Does that mean I simply prolonged her life cycle by 4 weeks or will she just dry out after 9-10 weeks when she was supposed to and leave me with lesser yield?

It will grow until it's done now yes, and that may mean lower yeild. From the time an auto pops out of the ground all they do is grow for the end run. The veg for a month or so and then it's on for flowering, that is how the auto plant grows. Thats why you dont clone autos - well some do - but every auto I have dealt with is on its way to flower when it pops up.

Well they kinda are. I noticed that now when I remove the strings she stays more or less in place and that now she has more equal canopy which is good considering those auxins and shit, right?

You are right! Cool beans its a great way to learn your strains, I abuse new stuff all the time, I almost killed a Plemon this run, only had the one so I had to fix her up.

Hahah nice for you lol, this is my first grow overall so even though I really read before going into anything I was prepared to make mistakes. After this im thinking of growing 2 autos of the same strain together in that small box and try some Scrog or something.
Anyway, about the light... i use 78w in total (1x 24w 2700k 1x24w 6500k 1x 30w 2700k) and although people say 100w per plant I think its sufficient for that small box. If I decide to go to with scrog, how many more should I add.
Note. the box is really small...10"x14x24"

Break a leg and maximize that grow space

you'll be very happy you did

imo minimum would be 4x4x6 ft ..?

you wouldn't be the first grower to dump his closet lol lol
