1st grow can't decide between DWC or Hempy Pots

I have a 5x5 grow tent 600w hps ms light with 6'in duct inline fan i ant to grow 4 plants to start. I have 3 super cheese fem and 3 super iced grape fruit fem seeds. I had my mind set on dec but a visit to my local hydro store the owner scared me away from dec and said go dirt. Any input?

DWC is cool and all, soil may be easier, but Ebb n Flow is where it is at IMO. Super easy to use run and maintain, the plants aren't constantly in the solution, harder to get root rot, easier to mix nutes for. You can pick up the plants to see if they need water, much like soil.

Get yourself a nice res, top tray, 2 pumps and inert medium and you're good to go.

I can fit that in a 5x5?

Hell yea man! I had a 4x4 before my current setup. Get a 2x4 tray and a 20-30 gal res. That should suffice. You don't want a tray that matches the same size of the tent or you will have no workspace and little room for proper ventilation. For example my tent next to my bed now is 4x8x8 and I have a 3x6 tray. With venting and res and all it fits perfectly in my set up.
