1st grow - cfl sweet seeds fast bud - rubbermaid

Starting my first project any tips/feedback is much appreciated most of what i've learned thus far is from reading others grow journals. Decided on a fast autoflower for my first time dont have a ton of space so figured i give the sweet seeds fast bud a go.

Grow box is 2 18gal rubbermaid bins stacked, capcity to run 4 -8 cfls probably will max out at 4 or 5 as only growing 1 plant. Box is lined with reflectix with bright white paper on the bottom to help reflect more light towards the bottom of the plant. Exhaust is 2 80mm pc fans 1 towards the top pulling in cool air and 1 on the opposite side towards the bottom pulling out air. Using fox farms soil with General hydroponics nutes.

Lighting schedule probably gonna try 18/6 for the life of the plant ive read so many mixed reviews on lighting for autoflowers 12/12 20/4 18/6 24/0 - i figured 18/6 would be a happy medium lights i have 4 6500k cfl and 4 2700k will probably go 2 of each once she starts to bloom i also have flexi light adaptors to reach the sides and bottom of the plant to make sure the entire plant is getting enough light


Current box temp 72f and 60% humidity so far so good seedling sprouted its tap root yesterday so i planted her 1/4in into the soil todays only day 2 but i'll post some pix of my little friends "incubator" this evening

only thing i'm still waiting on is my 4 way light adaptor thus the reason why theres only 1 in there now

if you are sticking with shop available cfl's just make sure you use the 26 real-watt ones and you'll be doing just fine.

Thanks man appreciate it bulbs were purchased on ebay the 6500k are 75w/18w and the 2700k are 23w think i'll be ok with those? I have 8 bulbs total my cab is already in the 70's with 60% humidity i havent turned the fans on yet as i see no need temp is steady and humidity is nice thanks to the crazy warm spring we're having

thanks man - not much happening here on day 8. Finally got my lighting 4 way adaptor today, gave here a good feeding last night and added 2 more lights - another 6700k & 1 2700k - heat was a little low in the cab hoping this warms up the place a bit, its holding steady at 75 degrees with 2 fans running, humidity floating between 40-50% the last few days added a cup of water to the box to try and help it along a little more - some pix for your viewing pleasure - about time for a 2 hearted ipa and some fifa, Peace ..

10 days in starting to show a few more leaves gave her a good watering last night hopefully i see some more growth soon - I feel like she's a bit small for being 10 days but we'll see how she goes

current soil ph 6.5, temp 81*, 30% humidity - going to add a wet towel to try and raise that up a bit more

fifa time!

15 days think I gave her a little to many nutes to early some of the leaves show signs of burn : ( other wise she's starting to get bigger time to start thinking about a scrog net and maybe some LST

18 days and counting starting to get bigger everyday got my scrog net ready but im gonna let her get a little taller before i actually secure in there, you can see the slight nute burn but all the new growth is green as can be any thoughts, tips, complaints, astrology forecast?

22 days in starting to see lots of new growth she's staying short, bushy, bright green and perk. Gave a a healthy watering with a small dose of nutes (general organics) 3 days ago seem's to have responded well - anyways heres the good stuff.

great looking plants man, that screen is awesome too..im considering throwing one of those in my 4x4 tent...

well while at work today my lights fell and burned the hell out of my friend not sure what to do at this point if i should just let her be or what any thoughts anyone>??? buller???
