Is it sad I just spent time to google an animated gif of a dude brushin' his shoulders off, just to show off my straight-up mad growin' skilllzzz? Haha, only kiddin' but I would be confident to say I'm a good student. Thank you Dr. Who, Cascadian, Stevieh, TMiill420, shiitt, thank everybody for all your help during my grow.

Woohoo, I'm happy to report that the only living living organisms living with my ladies are benign :fire:

They're there, but they ain't livin'. Now I just got carcass littered spotted leaves :leaf: Mighty wash will clean 'em off in a couple/few days though. Then a simple water rinse and all should be light maintenance through the end of harvest (all of you nod your heads). Catastrophe avoided.. :brushes shoulders oFF:

Well. I'm kinda pissed. Somehow I have live ones again. After only a day. Hopefully the mighty wash will get these fuckers.

So I haven't hit them with anything since the bomb because they are all still juvenile mites (not mature enough to lay eggs yet) and not many them anyways. I figured waiting another day would give any last eggs a chance to hatch and let me take a nice healthy whack at all of em.

Tonight I'll be hitting with azamax. After the azamax, in around 3-5 days I'll mighty wash. It looks like I may have to continue this to the end - Bagh!

Well tonight started off kinda bad.. one of my ballasts burned out. Started smoking something fierce... have no idea why, I'm just glad I have a backup.

Before I go and spray the girls down and water them and everything, I wasted to post this quick question... both of my Holland's Hope are flowering way differently than the other posts. One HH has had spider mites visibly on it, the other has no apparent mites or damage indicative of them. All of the girls are doing great producing thick hairy colas, with the exception of these two. They look like they're still in week one or two of flower. It's only that strain..

What gives do you think?

Not sure what it would be other than genetics. From what I have read HH is pest resistant so maybe the mites just started from that plant. My understanding is that HH is also an earlier strain so that is a mystery. Maybe the buds form slowly then get very dense and resinous during the last couple weeks of flower?

I will research it in the next few days. Planning on making some beans of HH for an outdoor grow so I would like to know too.

I have also read that different breeders can have vastly different plants/phenose under the same strain name...

I know that this is true HH because of where I got them. I've just finished watering and spraying, and only one plant had any visible mites. It was one of the HH. I know it's a pest resistant plant as well which confuses me as to why out of all my girls, this strain is having a tough time battling them off. The two HH plants have always been more tolerant of temp and under/over watering than the others. I'm at a loss for what's going on here. I'll post up a pic here shortly.

I'll be honest, I was looking forward to the ice ask grow but last night changed all that when I smelled the g13, lol. The sweet berry smell to it is what got me.

Thanks for posting that link Cas, but sadly, mine are still not even as developed as his. Compare 1st picture (his at 4.5 weeks) to picture 2, 3, and 4... mine at 4.5 weeks. Notice the numerous bud starts, but with no continued development. They've been in this same state it seems for 2 weeks.

Here's a few shots I snapped of my favorite G13

Yeah, night and day difference with the HH compared to G13... HH looks about 2 weeks behind. I am curious to see how it develops in the next couple weeks.

I am starting to think it might be a good idea for me to make some feminized Jack Herer pollen as well to make some HH crosses with for the outdoors. Will still make the straight HH beans but that is a disappointing showing by the HH so far. G13 is making up for it though!

Ooh, a Jack's Hope huh? That sounds awesome. You can feminize pollen?

You know, I think I just figured out why the HH aren't growing that great...

When I transplanted from 3 gal pots to the 5 gal (because they vegged too long), the 3gal were squatty, like wider but short. They were basically as wide as the top of the 5 gal pots. So I had to try and shave some dirt off the sides to fit them in the narrower bottom, taller pots. I think this resulted in a slight gap between the new dirt and the transplanted root mass...

Sound like a reasonable conclusion?
