Hey Canna,

Good job with LSt :)

The 3 pineapple chunks I would Fim them which I think I can make out you just have .... Hopefully that should slow them down, if not you could try Topping heres link to a thread seen today, that would bring then back down to size plus you could use the other bit for cuttings...

Mate I am new to it myself, but for some reason you hear something and research it, the internet is great for people to teach and people to learn......

Hope it helps, if not you learned something ;)

Thanks Stevieh. I'm not sure I could bury much of the stem, I'll take a look tomorrow at possibly topping our fimming.

Well, I went out and got the ladies a brighter sun to bask in. With it being a 1000W MH, I can now take out the heater I was forced to use, so this is now more light, balanced heat, and less electricity :hump:

Here's the girls under their new 1000W "Sun". Right now the light is about 26" above the top of the plants, is this a good distance?

Btw, sorry about the pictures, my camera didn't care for the extra bright reflections I guess, lol.

So the ladies have now had 24 hours under their new light and have been LST'ing for a couple of days.

This morning I decided that the Pineapple Chunk plants are simply too tall and stretched vs. the other plants, and felt that LST alone wouldn't do enough. Soooo, I decided to try a little super-cropping. I put them on a break from LST for now. I'm really kind of freaked out that I may have possibly hurt them but I might just be worried since it was the first time I did it and bending branches in half doesn't exactly make a plant look healthy, lol.

In addition to that, I did some pruning on one of my "gimpier" plants, ICE #1. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, many of the clones had been clipped in early flower and then brought back into veg. Well ICE #1 was the most fakked up looking of them all. It had several curled over non-serrated single leaves of the main stem, but has really been acting like it wants to grow (even if the growth is somewhat retarded looking, this girl still wants to grow old with her amigas).

Anyhow, I clipped all of those "spoon" leaves (that's what I'll call them, lol) from the stem, which is now bare.

Can anyone take a look at the pics here and tell me if I fak'd my babies up? 1st 4 pics are the super cropping on the PC. Next few are of my ICE (#1) plant showing the foliage I cut off and how the plant looks now. Will new branches sprout from the cut sites? Or did I just butcher and kill the tard plant? BTW I clipped them off with a razor blade that I dipped in Roots "Excelurator".

Hi mate,

The super cropping looks good you might want to support them a bit, what I done was lay them on other stems/branches so they took the weight and they weren't hanging from the bend .......

The first ice pic looks as if you might of done it to much, don't worry if you done it a tad to much and it snapped, but is still attached, just tape it together using scot tape or something like that that's .......

Well thats what I've done b4 and it worked ......

Well this morning I checked on ICE #1 and doesn't appear that it has sustained any chronic (pun intended) injury. Yet..

All of the super cropping I did (with the exception of my 3 Pineapple Chunk) has already produced new tops on almost all super crop bends. I am pretty sure the pineapple chunk is still trying to recover from the heat burn caused the day prior to transplant in the beginning of this week.

I did some additional LST'ing on almost all pants the tard (ICE 1) as I won't be upset if doesn't make it. I also cut a lot of larger fan leaves off of a few plants to give maximum light exposure to newly developed tops. I did this the most on the special kush as it was super bushy and has 8-10 tops already.

Lastly, I ordered some Cal-Mag off Amazon as I think I have a mild mag deficiency. On a bit of a side note, I'm a bit surprised I haven't really observed any accelerated growth after putting the 1000W MH up.

I'll post updated pics probably sometime this weekend.
