I received the first of my 3 part seed order to get my breeding project going. For 2 years I have been sampling different strains from the West Coast and the East Coast and 2 trips to Amsterdam to try what they have to offer. When I found my favorite plants I decided to I wanted to make some crosses and get some breeding under my belt.
The 3 crosses I am going to make are:
L.A Confidential X Tahoe OG = No name yet
L.A Confidential X Chem Valey Kush = Chem Valley Con
Bubblelicious X Chem Valley Kush = No nake yet
So today came my first part: Tahoe O.G (Cali Connection), L.A Confidential(DNA) and always get freebies (Blue Widow, Haze Auto, Critical+ and Road Runner all from dinafem)
In a couple days the attitude is having another promo. This promo contains 3 strains I have actually been wanting to buy so I am ordering again even though I did one last week.
The Promo gives you 1x Kandy Kush from Reserva Privada, 1x Pineapple Express from G13 and 1x Blueberry Gum from G13.

I harvested the OG Kush #18 and am actually smoking it right now. Very good stuff. The Blue venom went into shock treatment today and 5 more plants are getting pulled within the next week.
I will be discontinuing the Aeroponic and Hydroponic system after this grow. They are growing big and beautiful but they take up too much space and filling and mixing the aero reservoir (78gal) is no fun... and the hydro system is too small unless you are doing just 1 plant.
It will give me enough room to have 3 separate areas in my flower room. 12 plants in each section in 5 gal tubs. All the way to the left will be plants in first week of flower until end of 2nd week flower under a 400w HPS. These are on a table to be closer to the light. In the middle will be another table but not as tall of a table and there the plants will be from start of week 3 until end of week 5 under a 600W HPS. To the right of the room the plants that are in week 6 and beyond of flowering will sit on the floor under a 600W HPS. So there should be 36 plants in the room at all times and I should be pulling 36 plants every 8-10 week throughout that time consistently.
The way I have it now I am pulling about 7 plants every 4 weeks or so. I am upping that with my new clones and the 12 plants planted today.
I have my growing and harvesting schedule for the next 9 months worked out and the feeding schedule for every different strain as I am growing over 40 different strains total and as much as 30 different ones at the same time. I love variety. It's a lot of work to learn each and every plants feeding habits and how they grow etc but it's a labor of love.
Interesting note, I planted a Headband and a OG Kush #18 both from Reserva Privada in a bubbleponic system and the rest in soil to see how different they were.
Now I know since I grew from seeds all the plants will be different and different phenos will show but the Headband in hydro looks completely different then the Headband in soil. And the OG in the hydro is looking completely different from the OG in soil. I can see its the same plants by its structure and smell but from appearance it looks like a different strain.

Within the next 2 weeks I will add Chocolope, Blueberry Gum, Kandy Kush, Pineapple Express and Chem Valley Kush to the mix.
The goal of this strain collection that is taking place is so that I can eliminate any strains I do not wish to move any further with at an early stage as my real growing space will not be for another couple of years when we move and get a house based on the growing space. At this time I will have a stable of mother plants and hopefully much great male pollen frozen for further projects. I am securing Grape Krush and Alcupulco Gold genetics to create a Gold Rush cross that should hopefully be my number one pain controlling med. Alcupulco gold when vaporized is a true classic and instant favorite with everyone who tried it and the grape krush was the biggest hit we have had in years and was the one strain that helped the most with my back injury. Together I hope they will create a Gold Rush.
I doubt anyone actually reads this and if you did then props to you. I picked up growing again 6 months ago and started with 2 plants under 100W Hps lights in a closet. Was just going to do for fun. I fell in love with growing again and now have 2 full bed rooms full of thousands of dollars worth of equipment and many many hundred worth of nutrients.
I am glad to be back on a bigger scale again and I can't wait to be able to go into full scale production within the next few years and until then I will keep growing out these collections of strains and I will keep tossing out and adding strains as we go until I will have my perfect group of strains and mother plants. My stable of mother will probably contain a total of 20-30 strains so there are a lot of spots to fill!
