1st grow. OG Kush and PTW. 3 weeks into flower

I'm about 2 months into my first grow from clones. I got these for free from a kind OMMP patient who knew I was just getting started. I'm using 18 bulbs.
2700x 12
5600x 4
Then 2 LEDs with a mix of 60 red and blue lights.
I'm using the whole line of Fox Farm nutes but only using them every other watering. Pics to come...

Here are the pics of my 4 girls. I just took these today so its 3 weeks and 3 days into the flowering cycle. A couple of the buds have pink hairs on them. I'm not sure if that's from my cold nigh time temps or what. I have found it down in the high 50's on occasion when the lights come on in the morning with daytime highs around 80. Super Cropped them the 2nd week of flower and it barely slowed them down.

4 weeks and 4 days down. If these things grow too much more in the last 3 weeks i will be tying up branches to keep them out of the dirt. The bigger plants are the OG Kush. The head colas on these 2 plants are getting so big I am going to have to support them to keep them out of the dirt of the next pot over. maybe I will make some kind of bamboo bracing for them. These are the 2 buds only 4 weeks after switch to 12/12...

Then side by side shots of the OG Kush and Pineapple Tran Wreck. The PTW nugs are only half the size and half as many buds. They are both smaller plants all around though. So I'm not all that surprised.





Humidity is killing me! I have been fighting this last week to keep it in the 50s. Its winter so running the A/C is out of the question. So I will be getting some other kind of humidity controlling device. Either a home made one using salt and a fan. Or some of the dry chemical stuff they sell at Walmart.

EDIT: For anybody curious. The sand on my dirt is to combat a Fungus Gnat infestation from my organic soil. No signs of the little pests since the day I sanded them. 1 inch of sand is a great way to ward them off and kill what is in the soil.

try silicon kitty litter...(not the cheap stuff).....it's about $8 for 2 LBS....put in open tray near bottom of grow room....it will suck up allot of moisture

WOW!!! I'm just finishing up week 4 with just CFL's and can't wait to get some LED's to throw in the mix. Lookin mighty FINE in there for your 1st grow!

Thank you. I give this forum most of the credit. I give my mom the rest for giving me a green thumb as a kid. I have always had plants.

Buds look great. I will post up some more pics in another week when they have filled in more.

5 weeks and 3 days in and things are looking really good. House stinks like marijuana 24/7 but it did most of the time before anyway. The buds on the PTW have really filled out this week. They are all swollen and about 95% of the hairs have turned orange/brown. Only about half of my trics have turned cloudy though so I will be waiting on them patiently. New bud production has stopped for the most part.
The OG Kush is a different story.None of the buds on it have swollen yet and maybe 10% of the hairs have turned. Its just piles upon piles of thin little buds with white hairs. The tops are just masses of little bows from the new hairs coming from the new buds. When these things swell it will be glorious.

The PTW went all white a couple days after I last updated the thread so I cut those girls down and they just finished the 1st drying stage Friday and are in jars now. The OG is looking great and there is a lot of new bud growth lately. They pop out and fatten very fast now not slow like they did before.
I started flushing this week and they will only get molasses from here on in. All the trics are white and I'm just waiting to see the first signs of amber to harvest the first plant. I plan to let the second go a little longer to get a higher amber count for a preference test. Buds are super fat now and have this overwhelming fruity/berry/skunk smell when you touch them. very potent and extremely stinky pot. I would not advise anyone to grow this pot in a "stealth" box as there is nothing stealthy about these buds.

They make my mouth water too. I did a pinch test on the buds last night and they are all solid. I gave them some good pinches amd the buds were undamaged. So I do have some dense ass nugs going on. I can't wait for the 19th.

What's up with the super cropping and mollases?
