Ok this is kinda crazy to me, but I had a couple germinated seeds in styro cups sittin in my backyard in a light shaded area. They never sprouted for reason i do not know...I figured it was the sun because im in Central Texas...but the thing is i remember planting one the day after i planted those germinated seeds, but this one wasnt germinted...i just threw it in some wet soil and set it out there....this was about 5 days ago..i go out there today to set some more cups out there thinking the ones already out their failed and i see the one i just threw in the dirt had poppd soil! I was excited as shit...the soil was really dry so i ran in the crib to water (filterd water). What are the odd of that!? Im still amazed. I will be setting more up outside in a couple days once they pop soil... i have them in the house right now. Any idea would be helpful....I also have Superthrive and Fish Emu but i havent used them...should i use them?

I still cant believe the seedling survived the hott days...it gets triple digits here! Must be strong.

You have a survivor there, she will make it. I would mist it regular and make sure the she doesn't get dry right now. Slowly get it use to the sun as she will be very tender right now. Since you use the super thrive (great stuff) I would mist her with that each time you mist until you get your first set of true leaves. Glad you have your journal going, subscribed. Welcome to the great outdoors......lol.:weed:

I have never had any ill effects from it. I don't give any nutes for the first 3 to 4 weeks, but super thrive is only vitamins and hormones so it poses no threat to the plant.:joint:

Now that my friend I am no expert in.....lol I haven't used any in many many years. I make my own composted soil and use cow, horse, rabbit and chicken manure teas. I also use the manures in my compost. This builds the soil up which in turn feeds the plant. Oh I also use molasses in my teas or waterings once a week. Anything I can help you with please feel free to let me know. I have been growing for over 40 years but I am not the high tech whiz lots of these people are today in growing.:joint:

So i wake up this morning...roll me up one...and go in the back to check on the baby and what i walk up to is another baby sprouted right next to her(in the same cup)..!! Im confused...i dont remember putting 2 seeds in this cup, i may have, but i def dont remember! The first seedling looks happier than it did yesterday...and the second one looks exactly like the other did yesterday, i didnt even see it when i took the pics yesterday! I have a batch of super thrive+filterd water i made like a week ago, i left it in the garage...is this still good to use? I misted some water onto them as the soil didnt look as dry as i thought it would..not really dry at all! Here's pics..lemme know what you think...

when would it be safe to transplant? or should i just kill one? i really dont wanna do that!
Subscribed. I think the molassas and superthrive would be safe to use now. Transplanting them is always touchy - but if you leave them in that cup so close together, their roots will tangle together - probably eventually kill each other off. So the sooner you seperate them, the better. Be very very gentle with them.:peace:

so I just went outside to go mist since it gets hott as shit here, and i look in all my other pots and cups and i see 2 more cups and a pot have seedlings in them! this is crazy i thought the ants ate the taproot a long time ago, so i stoppd watering..this had to be at least 2 weeks with no water...except when it rained like 2 days in a row last week...maybe that helpd...but i see sprouts in them, to small to snap picks of so i just waterd with a super thrive+fish emu mix and im going to wait until the morning to see what happens...I couldnt see the stem, only the two leaves...i dug down and sure enough there was a little stem...i was amazed..this must b really strong strains! Ill post pics tomorrow morning tho!

I wouldn't use anything but the superthrive right now. Those roots are so tender that just about anything will burn them. They reall can get all they need from the soil, then in about 2 to 3 weeks a weak solution about 1/4 strength and slowly build them up. Good luck with the transplanting.:joint:
