1st Grow.. Pretty sure this is a Hermi, any conformation? (pic)

This is a Barney's Farm Violator Kush three weeks into flower (11 week veg) looks conclusive to my inexperienced eye. Just want to hear it from somebody else lol. Also, what should I do with it? Can I chop it down, strip and hang it in the room to try to salvage something (anything) or will that possibly pollinate my other plants? Can I let it run another week to let it develop a little more then chop it or is that too risky?

get rid of it. going herm this early is nothing you want in your garden. next, avoid barneys farm as this happens far too often.

You can try a product called Dutch Master Reverse. I've never used it, but it will apparently take care of a problem like this and allow you to flower this out without problem.

I'm thinking the 11 week veg may have contributed to it. I know you're supposed to be able to veg for as long as you want (or for a long ass time), but 11 weeks man! That seems a bit long.

Interesting that veggin for so long might have been a contributing factor (especially considering it was 24\0) It gives me some hope for the numerous clones that I took from it and her 'sister' but failed to label which came from where (rookie mistake).. Ironically this particular plant also suffered some undue stress when I accidentally snapped one of the 4 main nodes doing some LST earlier in the veg (tried to lst a day after watering instead of waiting til it dried out)

Good lookin out about buying Barney's seeds in the future though, they do seem like the McDonald's of suppliers. I'll do some more research before my next purchase.

For now I'm just gonna let these clones finish then keep a close eye on them while flowering

Yes, it is most certainly a hermie... It could be in the genetics, or it couldve happenned because of light poisening, nute burn, or general stress to the plant.... I hate it and love it whenever they happen to me... I do my best to find another home for it far away from the rest of my beauties and flower it on out to collect the self-pollenated seeds, to use for my own fem'd seeds... Unless I think it's a genetic trait, then I definately discard them with the quickness... My last grow had a hermie that I didnt catch until I had 4 out of 6 plants partially pollenated, but I must say, it was a beautiful fuck-up, because the resulting hybrids have been astounding... And I cant wait to try them all out in about 2 more months after they finish and I trim and dry and cure!

Sometimes clones taken from hermies might not hermie as long as they are not subjected to the same triggers as the original plant..

Ahhh, light poisoning.. That's a distinct possibility, my other Violator Kush woke up yesterday morn with this zit. Looks like light burn to me, it was almost touching the glass under the 600 (air cooled w\ 340cfm, the glass is barely warm to the touch, so I don't think it's heat) maybe just too many lumens. Bodes well for growing out the clones that I took, hopefully it was a stress related hermi

Not very long IMO. 3-4 month vegging is what I've done in the past, that way they have a great yield

That's what I was thinking, but I did have them on 24\0 then when I flipped I did 36hrs of darkness (don't ask me why, I just read it somewhere) kinda an unnatural environment in hindsight.. Maybe it contributed, maybe not. I'm hoping that it did, otherwise my clones are shit

Yeah, that could be. I always try to keep from stressing the plants by not totally screwing with their natural light cycle
