1st grow searching for mother plants

5, fem cheese from greenhouse seed co

4, regular arjan,s strawberry haze x thai (both from greenhouse seed co)

and 6 bag seed thanks to a friend in n,y,

ok so the strawberry thai and bag seed were soakd over night in ph,d water on the 10/4/10 and all crackd an were put into coco on the 11/4/10

the cheese were done the same way on the 15/4/10 an went into coco on the 16/4/10
2 of the 5 cheese were squashed in the post but amazingly still germinated really well unlike my last pack of cheese from greenhouse where not 1 seed germinated out of the whole pack.
the only difference was the last pack was bought in the uk an the new pack was bought direct from greenhouse an sent from the dam so first pack could have been stored badly.
they were put under 3 6500k 16w cfls and a 70w hps as soon as thay broke the surface
starting a few feet away from the seedlings an moving closer over a couple of days untill the lights were just a few inch from the seedlings

ok so today the last couple of cheese seeds finally dropd there shells an the leaves are opening up everything seems to be going well except for one little strawberry thai that was one of the first to break ground. once it droppd its shell an opend up its petiole leaves revealin its first tiny proper leaves it just stoppd growin an hasnt changed at all in about 6 days so it looks like iv found the retard of the bunch lol

good to have you m8 im still waitin on my camera the girls are growin fast an lookin reall good im vegin until the 1st of may an then 24 hours dark an into 12/12 an then il keep the cheese vegin a bit longer an 12/12 them about the 25th

ok so todays around day 10 as the 15 seeds popped over a few days.
everythings going well, one of the bag seed is very indica dominent unlike the others which are more 50/50 the indica one already has it 5 leaves an is really looking good i really hope this ones a female all but 3 of the others have got there sets of 3 leaves and look great, the retard is still retarded but growing very slowly so generally everythings movin along as it should be iv changed quite a few things today iv moved them all out of the small seedling box with 4 16w cfl,s an a 70w hps an put them into my veg room under a 400w hps as my mh bulb got broke iv also put up some mylar and set up my new nutriculture gt 424 nft set but have decided not to use it untill iv chosen my mother plants from this grow and taken clones from each mother il then put the clones into the nft tank and flower the original mums an just keep the clones as mums, thayl stay permanently in the nft with a 70w hps over them as that way i wont have to do a lot to them, i still havent found my camera cable so im waitin on my brother coming round so i can use his so there should be pics in the next few days

todays about day 12 and most plants seem to have skippd the 5 finger leaf stage an gone straight from 3 fingers to 7 so thats gotta be a good sign there also growing really fast well except for the retard an also 2 of the strawberry thai an 1 cheese sem to be going slower than the rest il keep them all going under the veg light until im ready to flower an then decide witch are the best an take clones for mothers an the stragglers will go outdoors to continue veging for a few months cos if there flowerd with the rest thay will just take up space n light an giv a crap yield

ok so iv still not found the lead for my camera so iv taken some pics with my phone the 7 large black pots and 2 small black pots are all the same age ther 18 days today the 2 in the smaller pots just seem to be growing slower than the others so i didnt bother repotting them yet thay are both strawberry x thai as are the 2 large pots with white stripe around them the other large black pots are bag seed from new york off a friend on here then theres the 5 yellow pots there all 12 days old and are the cheese the little cheese at the right didnt have the 2 round leaves thay normally have to start with so thats proberbly why its so small ill add some more pics in a few days

yeah 12/12 at last lol!!! iv put the 5 bag seed an the 4 strawberry thai into flower as of the 2/5/10 an im still vegin the 5 cheese im gonna giv them at least 2 more weeks of veg before flowerin, il add a few pics tomorrow

these gals are growing fast now, the ones in the cupboard are nearly a week into flower after a 3 week veg from seed, the ones infront of the cupboard (the cheese) are still vegin an are nearly 3 weeks from seed

no one got nothin to say ? no advice ? no critisism ? am i that perfect lol !!!

the cheese are 3 weeks from seed tomorow an are lookin great iv repotted the largest 3 but then run out of coco and vermiculite so the smaller 2 will have to wait till i can get some more
as for the strawberry thai an the bag seed theyll be 4 weeks from seed tommorrow an 1 week into flower its lookin like the largest 2 strawbxthai are male and 2 of the bag seed are showing male signs id say 3 or 4 more days an il be able to sex all of them an then by gettin rid of the males il have much better light penetration to the remaining females

here we go the plants in the 1st pic in the cupboard are the strwb x thai an the bag seed 1 week in flower thay seem a funny colour in the pics but i think its from the flash as thay dont really look like that an there a bit droopy as thayv just had a big feed an watering, the other pics are my cheese that will be 3 weeks from seed tomorow im still undecided how long i wanna veg the cheese for cos i wanna swap over to an nft system but cant till i get all these flowerd an out the way so im pretty eager to throw them into 12/12

i used a 70w hps from the day the seeds popped the surface an after about 10 days i put them under my 400w hps but iv bought a 250w an 4 600w an co2 ready for my nft grow next time i have gotta say iv been amazed with the results from a 400w an growin in coco thay seem to really like it an grow fast

yeah dude , coco is where its at for sure. Your using 4 600 watts for your next grow?

if i can sort out a big enough growin area then il use them all it just depends on how much room iv got for the grow
i bought a load of growin gear really really cheap so im just tryin to use it all lol i didnt plan on goin big well not this fast anyway but iv got it all now so i may aswell use it
im tryin to sort it so iv got 2 veg areas an 2 grow areas in different houses so its not a massive jump on the electric bill
whatever i do itl all be on riu with photos so i can check back on different grows for future reference
