1st grow, swollen calyxes at 6 weeks

6 weeks into flower with an unknown strain. This looks nothing like my other 2 girls (obviously a different strain). I am a bit concerned about how swollen the calyxes are getting. They almost look like they want to pop open. Is this normal for some strains? My others have obvious trichs and look like another week or 2. This one looks like trichs are just getting started but like I said this is my 1st grow. I have searched every plant and found no signs of hermie. Cut open a couple of calyx and they seem empty. Do I have anything to be concerned about? ANy guesses how much longer this one needs to go?

I dont know if you have seeds or not. I had similar issues (what I thought was issues) before & it turned out to be a good thing. It was Bubbalicious from Nirvana Here's a picture. The pods were empty as well.

Thanks carl that sounds promising. I notice your bubbalicious looks very similar to my unknown strain too. What kind of flowering time did your bubba have?

it was my second grow. I didnt keep track. It was longer than 8 weeks though. Knowing what I know now I would have gone a little bit longer

Thanks guys. I was guessing from what I have read that it was at least a couple weeks behind my other girls. I was just getting nervous because I am getting ready to bring some more girls into the room next week. I will check her really close again before I do. So far I see no signs of hermie in any of them. It just looks so different from my Bianca's. Newbie nervousness! Thanks again for the info, really appreciate it.

My Hawaiian puffed up like a ballon..no seeds until I pollenated some lower buds after harvest.
