1st Grow!

Sup RIU. Im about a month and a half into my first grow. Ive got a 600w iPower HPS/MH in a 3x3x6 Millard tent. Ive got a couple questions. My first question is 2 of the best looking plants are only 7 inches tall and have been transplanted into 5 gallons, why are they so small? I know its not good for a plant to be stretched out. Im also growing GSC, ive heard that GSC is a low yeilding strain, any suggestions? Also ive moved the light about 17-18 inches away from the top of the plant. A 7 inch plant in a 5 gal pot well take a lot of time to grow.....

Forgot to mention, Ive got another one about 7 1/2 - 8 inches and its in a 3 gallon. Both were transplanted when they were about 5-6 inches on the same day. Seems about the same growth really dont see any difference but thanks anyways...
