I've been doing a lot of research and wouldn't jump into a project until I was fairly confident in my abilities. Hence why I'm here gathering dataFirst grow in dwc, I hope u have some background knowledge of what plants like ppm, ph and temp their nutrient solution.
The only thing your average first time grower is going to learn how to do in dwc is kill plants. I don't recommend starting in soil if hydro is your ultimate goal, start in promix with synthetic nutes so u can get an understanding of how growing works. Promix gives u more room for error than dwc, with close to the same growth rates. Some would argue that there is so much difference in dwc and soil so why not learn with dwc to begin with. I think with proper research and planning it could be done but also be prepared for a failure.
Sounds like a good route. The only thing your average first time grower is going to learn how to do in dwc is kill plants. Yeah for real fuck a third time grower I dont have a fucking clueI wouldn't recommend getting advice from a third time grower.
Good for you I grow for personal use and if the op is doing just that then I have enough experience that I can help them to get started and answer basic questions, rather than just say no dont do it grow in soil. Not gonna fight over dumb shit and hack the thread, if u want help im here to help amd more than willing to give my opinion op.Was that picture supposed to impress me or something? I've grown for 7 years, 5 of them with over 40 lights at a time. There are guys on here that have been growing for decades. Just saying, I'm gonna trust experience, not a third time grower.
Wow that's pretty cool. How much do you think you'll yield off this one? And I've heard mixed reviews all over the Internet about whether or not you should start with soil and I'm a noob but every day I'm researching so by the time I'm ready to grow, whether it be soil or DWC, I'll be ready( somewhat) lolDude relax dwc isn't hard I. On my third grow, any questions feel free to ask but this is me I have 2 single site dwc buckets, 2 air stones each I LST them as early as possible to train them to all be in light I don't lollipop, and then m using the cyco platinum series nutes and I follow the feeding schedule exactly as it is stated on the box! Now I have a 6x8 room for flower and veg, I do two plants at a time and my 2 are at day 51 of flower and my 2 girls are touching all 4 walls and growing into each other! I have a 600w HP's for veg and a 1000w for flower.
