1st harvest ever

I had my first ever harvest today. you know those plants you start before you know anything and you do EVERYTHING wrong? These were 2 of those. Bad PH, poor soil choice, weak lighting, irregular light cycle... Still I got about 6.5 oz wet weight after manicuring and a bowl of trim and bag of fan leaves. I plan to make tincture from some of the bud and leaves. I have it hanging to dry now. Little did I know the first step is to trim the buds until they look like Dr. Suess drew them. A fun and educational day... Cheers.

I had 2 grows that resulted in nothing; 1 when the apartment maintenance guys found it (at least it ended with my trashing them, and not someone with a badge), and other time it was one plant that had balls. But i didn't mind so much that I didn't harvest because I knew it taught me so damn much. If anything, it just made me more excited to try again. Good luck in your next grow; it's like pringles, you can't harvest just once ;)

These plants were grown from bag seed. Predominately indica. They were LST and if they stood up one was about 12" and the other about 18". along with the fact that they are both in the same container they were consistantly transplanted late, once at 4 weeks into flower. I made EVERY mistake you can and it still grew. Seriuos light burn too. I had a "sampler" last night. Drying out nicely with good potency. I'm pleased for a first time but the kush plants I have going now are FAR better developed at 6 weeks than these 2 were. I've read the posts. I've read the books. I've learned alot with only a whole lot left to learn.
