1st Harvest_ Bag seed-female

Elo mr bud ere.I've come to my harvest now and have already cut 1 plant which was bag seed and turned out to be female, the other im doing this weekend,i started off by choosing my closet as my grow space.with a desktop lamp and a fan wen they were seedlings and then used a flood lamp lmao.. for the beggining of the veg stage coz i didn't know wat i was really doin as its my first time grow! Then i swapped that for 3 200w cfl. (all through this grow i didn't have an exhaust i just open the doors as much as i could) Then i managed to get a 150w and a 250 mh bulbs which i used for the rest of the vegin stage. i also got the same bulbs in hps for the flowering period,i needed to get another fan in there coz the ballests were in there which made it hot in there.i think its been 4 months there or about for this grow..its all been good, i have learnt so much in this time and im sure next time it will be even better as i will spend more on equipment and have more knoledge.
Here are the pics of my harvest. i didn't bothere weighing it coz i don't wanna see a nice big number on the scales wen i know its gonna lose 70ish% in weight!!! I hate it!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH

not bad for a first grow, alot of growers dont even see a harvest their first grow : )

Yeh next time you will see drastic improvements. that MH threw the whole veg will deff help alot to. And did you say you had an hps as well?

How many watts is the MH, and how many is the HPS?

Im curious to know how it smokes : )

i had 1 150 w mh and a 250 one to! i've got the same bulbs in hps that i just swap over! im not smokin it yet as its only day 2 of drying!!

i didn't take any clones and when i wanted to i was well into flowering... but nevermind.the second plant i got to harvest this weekend looks even better than the one i already did!!

Well im all out now from my first ever grow, give about an ounce away and smoked about 1 and a half oz's in 3 weeks or so.now its time for next grow!!! but gonna change a few things. gonna get a 600w mh and a 600w hps for my next grow, i have 9 skunk#1 seeds which will hopefully produce alot of bud if mostly female! Does anyone have any good information on different set ups for closet grows. i.e flood and drain. hydro/areo plus anymore? it would help alot as i got worryied about not knowing wat the soil was doing inside.. it would be cool to see the roots growing in water but i don't think i've enough space to do hydro in a closet. my space is approx 3x3.5x5ft and like i said i'd like 9 plants in there.

Mr. bud,

You can save some money and just get a 600 watt HPS.. the MH will not increase your yield by much...

If flower the plants early.. when you rplants have 6-10 nodes... the HPS alone will probably grow an equal amount as if you used the MH for vegging.

Hey, Im getting setup so no pics but I actually started 5 gold skunk seeds on tuesday 12th, along with big bud and heavy hitter but there about 2 inches tall, slight stretch but healthy. Ill keep an eye on your journal we should compare skunk grows

What up man? Luckily for me you re-posted in this thread otherwise I would have never seen it! Anyways I'm interested in your first grow that you did, with (from what I undrstood) nutrient based soil and or liquid for food, and standard lights inside your closet, is that pretty much it? Im asing because I am looking to do a similar thing, and where I live at the moment it is very hard to get hold of hydro and aero equipment, so I wanna go basic.

What I wanna know is, are there any tips or anything that sought of stuck out for you during this first grow? I am a little worried as I don't have all the fancy equipment is all, so yeah any important tips or things that you observed I would greatly appreciate. Anyways let me know, cheers!
