1st hydroponic grow (white russian n AK 47)pics posted every week

This will be my 1st grow with hydroponics So i will be needing alot of help from you guys. i have grown with soil b4 but i am looking to future and hydroponics is the way to go. i did a lot of extensive research b4 setting up and with the help of my shop guy i was able to put together a system.

nutes: dutch mater gold

Strain: White Russian and AK47

Method: Sea of green (40 clones total)


Veg room:
3'x4'x7'.5' grow tent
5xt5 lights
1 ebb and flow table
50 gallon res.
8" oscillating tower fan

Flowering room:
4x8x7.5 grow tent
2x600watt hps
2 edd n flow tables
1 50 gallon res.
2x 31" oscillating tower fans

Ventilation:
8" Inline duct fans 700cfm

Odor control:
100 can filter 840cf

my ebb n flow system has 2 pumps that are 350 GPH for each res. one for flooding n one for pumping air and circulating the water

i germinated my seeds 6 days ago. 20 out 21 cracked and so far 19 sprouted and 15 show signs of 2nd fan leaves. i put the seeds between wet paper towels on a plate n covered it with a bowl. when they cracked i placed the seeds in rapid rooter plugs which was dipped in water with Nutri-plus Start at 25% strength n later put a dome until roots start popping of the plugs.

July 17.

so i put them in the nets to start flooding the table. 4 ak47 are still in the dome. the rapid rooter plugs are still wet so i'm gonna wait till it drys out b4 i start my system which i will feed every other day at 15%-25% strength NUts.

July 18.

the net cups with sliver on the tips are white Russian n the others are AK47

i defintately wanna keep my eye on this

The plug dried out and 3 babies were limping due to no water but after flooding the table until the water touch the plugs 2 came back to life but sadly one died. so far most of them look good. right now 19/20 sprouts are still alive.

15 out of 19 look really good but 4 of them are scaring me. i do not know what the problem is but if any of you guy can help please reply.

i flooded the table only once but not to the point where it touch the plugs because i do not want to over water.

No the white russians are joey weeds and the AK are Beanho got them from Hempdepot

i did some research n i think i was giving my babies nutes too early so for the last 2 days i been only feeding them water (ph5.5-60). i will continue doing this for the next 1 - 2 weeks, then i will start giving food @ 10-20% strength.

first off- awsome system you got going on keep up the good work, love to see the final product.

second- the nutes thing, yea deff hold off mabby for a week or so, then mix up eather a 25% or 50% nute salute. Check out my grow, iv been giving mine 50% for the last week and they are looking mighty fine!

AU420, just checked out ur journal n i have to say ur ladies are looking fine.

raise the light 10inches higher n hand watering with ph ajusted water after posting a problem thread. the spot and dark colouring could of been heat stress or nute burn but most likely nute burn. One guy had the same set up as me with 5 T5s HO lights n it burnt his babies but after raising the lights his babies really started growing. i hope this work for me too. i didnt notice the heat too much since i have a ac unit.

after raising the lights 10inches higher their doing alot better. even the one that looked really bad are recovering pretty fast. i can also see some root at the bottom of the nets from a couple of them. i 'm still hand feeding them water once a day.

Just starting out with good lil babies.I want to see how those w.r. finish up the ak 47 as well.I have one in my flower room with 2 more weeks left maybe 1.One fat main cola..

i'm flooding the table with 3/4 inch of nutes mixture @ 10% strength every 8 hours. if u look past the stretching they look pretty good i will wait acouple more days until i raise the nute level to 25%..

its been about over last week with nute feeding of 10%. after flushing for a day i'm feeding at 25%.
one seedling is showing some nute burn but the rest looks good.
i'm gonna buy a ppm stick to make sure i dont over feed and also gonna buy hydrogen peroxide to make sure i kill any viruses or fugues that may develop.

Plants r looking good keep doing what your doing..

i put the kids in bigger mesh pot cuz the guy at the shop told i will need it when they get bigger. i also started flooding every hour to keep the hydro-tons wet. the shop guy also told to raise my PPM to 600 but i'm not sure yet cuz i'm really scared of nute burn.i'll wait a couple more days. i also added hydrogen peroxide to the res.

so far so good here is some pics.

Some of the plants look plate green with dark veins. Due to low ppm so i'm upping ppm to 500.

The ppm is going up due to evaporation of res. Plants looks darker so i'm keep the ppm between 500-600.

plants where growing very slow from day 36- 46 due to lack of nutes(600-700 ppm) but from day 47-now the ppm was at 1000 -1400 n the pants were loving it. they show alot of growth. the height ranges from 12inch to 14inch.
