i will have to look into that it sounds interesting thanx man. And ya i have herd of those 300watt lights putting out similar to a 1000watt also, that might be something worth looking into, other then that tho im just sticking with the equipment i have.. MIGHT purchase a couple 28watt panels down the road for 3 wardrobe cabinets i have.. fill it with a bunch of autogrowers? i dono i just love my little panel lol..

im guessing you say that with a question mark becuz its a bad idea? lol..
ive herd light hitting ur roots can cause crap to grow on ur roots.. same idea with white flood/drain trays.. ive read to just always go black but i figured id reuse some of the crap i have around.. its just a one time thing, 8 fit perfectly side by side and when i transplant i hav to cut them out of the container becuz of the way its designed its hard to just pop them out after drying up so that was kind of a pain.

Ya rene's bumpin avatar! She be "blunt cruisin" haha. And nothing happend with the moms X after that one day when he said he was going to come over with his cop buddy blah blah blah.. which obviously would get in trouble for just "showing up", for it to be legal he would actually have to call something in and have the reg. cops do it like they normally would and not just some look over by the moms X's friend. So nothing came more from him threatening that, she hasnt talked to him since nor have we herd from him. I am somewhat still doing my thing tho yes.. this is how things went in a nuttshell:
-had 4 LST'd plants at my buddies vegging under 1000watt MH
-had 17 clones rooting
-4 LST'd plants taken over by spider mites beyond repair
-killed the 4 LST'd plants
-potted 8 new clones under LED
-tossed 9 other clones due to mites
-brot 5 plants to my buddies (still have to transplant to 5 gallon pots) under 1000watt MH
-kept 3 plants (2 "Number One Kush" & 1 "Number Four Kush") to be mothers
-transplanted the 2 "Number One Kush" plants to 5 gallon buckets and put under 400watt MH to veg. (still need to transplant "Number Four Kush")
Now im just waiting on my 40"x40"x79" grow tent
should be here in a couple days, then things will be moving along nicely and i can cutt some new clones. My mom knew i still had my cloneing dome/tray going with clones in it under two 2' T5 tubes.. the od time when she would come down to tell me something or whatever and see them she would say she wants them gone or whatever, so i never got rid of them and just kind of moved them out of site and she stopped questioning and telling me to get rid of them, when they went under the LED it was a little easier to keep them out of site but im pretty sure she knew they were in there n e ways.. either way i figured it was a nice steathly little grow.. i just recently put up the 400watt like 2 days ago and she hasnt seen it yet, but it'll be way better of course once everything is in that grow tent.i plan to transplant the 5 plants i have at my buddies into 5 gallon pots.. veg. under the 1000watt MH for 2 weeks, begin flowering for 2 weeks with the MH, then switch to HPS for the remaining 6 plus weeks to finish flowering. LoL wow what a reply.. i went to bed early last night so i didnt get a chance to get over to your thread, i was having a hard time getting back to sleep (its 6am now) so i thot id go on here, take a toke and see if i can get back to sleep. Time for that toke lol.. mayb i should start tokeing before i reply then my replies will be WAY shorter and lessly over explained haha..

hey man ya go to that link in my first post, good website/company to deal with, decent prices etc.
as i explained the ones that are compared to mine are 28watts not 45watts like mine, they came up with a new lighting source or something and it is the same output but at a lower energy cost..
I absolutely LOVE my LED panel.. this was the first time actually testing it out, if u go back a couple pages u can see my comparison pictures 2 weeks apart ruffly..
I would like to test it out to the full extent if i can tho:
-upgrade my little cabinet under my desk with little computer fans for intake and exhaust
-less plants, bigger pots (mayb 4 autogrowers from seed to harvest)
-flower with it
Again tho, pretty impressed with it, might invest in a few more panels for a wardrobe with shelves in it for a side grow down the road.. i have 3 of these wardrobes so id like to put them to some good use
Can't really help you on your grows... but you helped me... I have been looking for a link to get an led panel and thanks to you now I have it.....been looking for some time and thinking that I could use cfl's but if the panels use so little electricity those are what I want. my light bill is astronomical.......and I really have been considering the cost and thinking of putting a stop to it. I'll keep you posted on my grown in the future......

that is AWSOME, glad i could be of help, i dono how many panels u are buying or what your grow is like but those panels def. work good for veg... and if you look more into it on the web you can get specific spectrums for what you are using the panel for.. they have all blue LEDs for veg. and all red LEDs for flower.. and then they have mixted spectrums of both like mine... i didnt do any research before i purchased the panel but i lucked out and it works pretty decent.. again i dono how well it will work for flowering but at this point i would suggest buying mayb a 250watt HPS for flower.. or even a 150watt if you want to go really low with the electricity bill.. either way, i am happy with my panel for personal side grows in between my main grows so i have a little smoke in between harvests.. again, we will SEEE how the flowering is lol..

oh and also... ya i agree versus CFLs... i absolutely love CFLs but if u think about it... a 26watt 6500k 2500 lumens CFL compared to a 28watt LED panel... i mean its kinda obvious the LED panel is going to work way better.. covers more area and better light penetration. ALTHO.. a 28watt LED panel is going to cost about $150 max.. as where a 26watt CFL is going to cost mayb $15 tops.. the CFLs i have are the same as this example.. they work really nice.. they are "Sunblaster" name brand and have an ionization process to them also which helps keep the surrounding air clean.. i paid about $12 for each one.. i only have 2 but i would purchase them again if i wanted more CFLs

i just looked at they're website for the first time and the exact same grow tent is selling for $149.95 which is still a good deal, its no "Secret Jardin" but it will get the job done.. if your going to get a 1000watt in a grow tent id def. go with "Secret Jardin".. i love that brand but it is too expensive for me right now.. i plan on using this tent for mothers after i save some money for a new tent.. then i will probably get another tent after that and sell this one. This tent only has 3 port holes, 1 for cords, 1 for exhaust, 1 for intake.. so thats a little disappointing but like i said it will do the trick, it also has free flow vents at the bottom, im just using a 400watt so i think i'll be fine.
