Day 46 update shortrider waiting for the auto to flower an kush still vegging....mean while I am ruining everything I dry

them girls are gonna be beasts in flower, cant wait, as I am sure you cant either.

I hope the 2 in the back the autos.....I am patiently waiting....but I fuck up everything during the dry/cure

have you followed riddleme any? he has done some research in curing. some of what he has found is that curing is a fermentation process. there is a lot to it, but one thing he found was that if you drown the roots for the last 5-7 days of a plants life it basically cures it. so you do this, then harvest, and then dry, then the product is as good as cured right then. you are basically starving the roots of oxygen. several folks have done this with success, and one with failure, i think it was stem rot.

when you have hydro you basically turn off the pumps and no more oxygen bubbles feed the roots. i know this sounds like murder the hard way, but it works. i will be trying it relatively soon myself.

thanks gumball...I seriously didnt think 4 plants (short riders) were gonna take up sooo much room in the grow room...now I gotta build another box errr I flushed yest so hopefully that will work its self out....I may have been a bit over zealous with the bloom nutes

Hey 420 I found a link you might like if you want a cheap hydro system homebuilt. The guy that did the forum here is amazing at his instructions on how to build the buckets. You may find it handy if you are like me and find the Stealth hydro system (I bought same as you) a little to small for your ladies. I am going to try and build a few buckets like this guy did. May be handy info if your roots get too big.

Well...I just spent some quality time down with the girls......and I am perplexed....with my nute issue.......

wow the root ball is massive. do you think the entanglement of the roots is compounding the problem?

Im sure...........lol.......but then again at this point what do I do........back to the garden

ok well I I have been busy the 2 kush plants in the 6 8g hole DWC........2 Short rider in the 4 hole 4g dwc...........So after some executive decisions...lol.... the massive roots that took up the small short rider tank seemed to be adding to my problem I originally was thinking nute burn but upon some further research, I am thinking it is more of an issue of the roots......so The 2 short riders moved into the 6 hole container that the kush plants were in...the runt kush moved into the 4 hole dwc by its self and the big kush moved into some half assed made extra container that I made.........This was almost 2 days ago.....I am nervous about the stress factor I should of donre it earlier but I was pretty sure if I didnt do something my efforts thus far woulda been for nothing.gonna start everyone back on nutes in the morning.........so I guess I wait and see if I get hermies....or do they flourish lol..........

Well that's some drastic measures. I think they should recover fine from the separating and such. They are still healthy and that should help you a bunch.
