1st outdoor in a while

Hello everyone i have my 5 plants growing indoor's under two 16watt CFL's

I know this is newbie of me, but i already know that.
This is all i can makedue with for now, because i am in a tight spot for money.
3 out of 5 are already sprouted and looking good, the other two were planted yesterday and should pop up enyday.
Im worried about the low lumens from the CFL's in early veg because i have never used CFL's of this low caliber. Ive used 42watt CFL's in the past which work good for CFL's. I hate using such shitty lights but this is only for early veg untill i transplant into 7gallon buckets and move outdoors.
I'll be making a grow journal on my summer indoor crop, and i will be adding Photo's of my outdoor crop. Please bare with me as i do not have my camera, i am not new to growing as i have been doing this for five years.
But i am new to using CFL's since ive only used them once in the past, does enyone think ill have problems in veg with such low lighting?

4 out of the 5 have sprouted... i now have 2 trainwreck 1 Roadtrip 1 bagseed.

Trainwreck :
T1 - 10 days old very healthy.
T2 - 5-10 days doing healthy.

Roadtrip :
R1 - Doing very healthy, shot up like a cannon

Bagseed was killed by motha

I've been giving T2 Normal dose's of NPK 24-8-16 (no burns very green)
B1 has been at double the dose as T2 NPK 24-8-16 (no burn's yet still very green)

I personally love using CFLs. 16 watts huh? That's what, MAYBE 1000 lumens (2000 all together). Using two of them for right now should be fine. I would think you should be fine for at least a few weeks. Good reflective material should definitely help you out as well. When were you planning on planting outside??? 1st week in April sounds like a good time as long as you don't live in Northern Canada.

thanks guys, yeah the lumens are low 850 or somthing low i think.
i will proboly be buying some 42watts.

That should get you through til you can get them outside. I must also admit that I'm the cfl user When will you be able to put them outside? That will account for alot. Damn! I love SPRING!!!

thermometer hit 82 outside today. i got babies just begging to see the sun. starting them under 6 23w cfls.

very nice, i need to get some plugs so i can run atleast 4-6 when all of my babys are growing. good luck buddy.

i planted last week and i have twenty sproutlings out of 25in the nor cal sun right now.i water them every morning at 7 with miricle grow solution and the sun hits them at 8 and stays til 7pm.i have them in redwood forest dirt,and llama dung with nitro nutes and fish oil.am i over doing it? they look fine they for the most part all are at least an inchand i working on their third set of leaves.when should i top and am i overdoing it on nutrients?or water?

it hits 70-85 at day here and 60-40 at night i know that will stunt growth,but does it stunt all growth ive heard roots grow well in the cold.

hi guys sorry but this is wrong floros have been used since the 70s so way before the mh and hps light have came out.

K well its the 10th day for the two trainwreck babies, day 2 for Roadtrip, and day 5 or 10 for the bagseed.

I dont care much for the bagseed it is doing healthy, the trainwreck are doing very healthy the one is 10 days the other which is a little bit smaller is on its 7th day or so, i will be picking up some 42watt cfls and get rid of these 16watts, ill be moving them outside april 9th or 10th for 30-31 days veg indoors, then im going to move them outside and let them grow happy outside.

Well it is 11'C out today and i moved the one "bagseed" outdoors i have the other 3 plants growing indoors under 3 15w daylight CFL's. The two trainwreck seeds are growing strong, Roadtrip is the youngest, and i think its the going to be the strongest it shot out of the soil like a cannon lol.

Im hoping i see a difference in growth having the bagseed outside if so im going to keep him outthere in the day untill i get home from work.
because these low watt cfl's arnt doing there job right....

did you say roadtrip? where do you get that i heard it was the bomb?

I got it from a king. and it is da bomb! haha

looks like your winning the race tho my roadtrip is only 5 days or so, but she is growing fast i only have 860lumen 15watt bulbs.... so i think there going to be fairly slow.

hey fdd or enyone's advice would be great, my indoor veg room is in my closet in my room where i sleep with no ventilation... is this going to be a risk to my health with all my fert's soil with ferts added?! I'm no "newbie" to growing but ive never grown without ventilation before, the only reason i have no ventilation is because im in my parents house.... ive grown 5 years indoors/outdoors in my own place since i was fourteen and im back here because of school/job/charge's that i need to get finished.... will this be fine?

Well my friends are doing good, i lost one tho (only the bagseed) i had a suspicion the bagseed was a male so i dont care that my mother killed it.
I had it upstairs in the window so it was out of the safety of my room so that's what i get....
currently i have R1(roadtrip)and T2(trainwreck) outside and there loving the sun trainwreck had some browning leaf's but its grown alot and the leafs are beautiful. I have T1 inside under 3 15watt CFL's 6500k for veg i might leave him inside and flower with 45watt CFL's and flower T2 and R1 outside.
As soon as i get a camera for this i will make a grow journal with pics, this summer i will be in my own place with my own garden and my 1000watts running, so i have a good indoor and good outdoor crop untill then i have to grow under CFL's and in buckets in my back yard, there is going to be snow monday i think here so this is shitty new's, we had temperature's up to 18C which was nice and the plants loved it aswell, the temperature's arnt hot enough here yet so im going to have to wait a while before things get going, my back yard smells like dog shit since i have a dog im just worried about neighbours seeing them in flower, i dont talk to my new neighbours and my other one's are old people they proboly wouldent know.

Well my baby's are doing great there heading into there 3rd week and are strong and healthy.
Technicaly T1 is in its 3rd week already but i dont count the 1st week, ive done it for 5 years and am not going to change that.
I am going to induce flowering either day 30 or 40 (April 9th or April 19th) i was shooting for a Mothers day harvest but thats not enough time.

T2 - Day 20 FUCK OLD MAN WINTER! it snowed 7inch's
R1 - Day 15 Old man winter strikes twice with one snow

Well i was at work from 11:00pm - 7:00am and at around 2am it starts fucking snowing a day early.... so im thinking it wont be too bad, guess again... T2 and R1 were completly covered.... COMPLETLY i had to brush them off and shit Ive moved T2 inside under CFLs now... (god fucking dammit) that snow is going to stress out T2 and proboly make it male, she was not strong enough to be out in -2 and lower C she will turn around but she was already smelling like Skunk!!!!! the 2nd biggest one with the first smell of cronic GOT snowed on... from my experience the one's that smell when there young usually grow to be female... w.e i think it was the last snowfall, i hope they dident get too stressed... but being covered in snow is not there favorite passtime...

I am starting to flower Thursday, i just got home from work and i've turned the lights out there going to stay out untill i get home from work at 7:00am thursday. I am drasticly looking for my older digi cam, but when my father gets home i will use his good one snap the pics and upload them and delete evidence.
Its Day 25 right now, and there going into 24hour darkness a day before flower.

24hours light for the 1st 24 days, day 25 Lights out 24 hours, Day 26 beging 12/12.
I've also increased my lights, so as of right now i have 3 15watt cfl's and one 60watt regular bulb. In a week or so im going to be increasing the light to 3 40watt CFL's and one regular 2300k light bulb. This will be enough of two plants indoors.
Roadtrip ( R1 ) is going outside after this harsh weather clears up, there is a row of bush's behind my house thats about half a KM long, somewhere in there im going to be putting roadtrip. I might even keep one of the female's i have and keep her as a mother so i can Clone and put them along these bush's right in the soil, i could have atleast 100 plants spread out growing along this but its right beside a road so i might keep it to 20 bunched up in a small area, im going to buy some Alaskin soil, and Tea compost for premium soil and let the girls blend in with the 15foot bush's.

From what i can tell since i do not have pictures no one gives a fuck about this thread, i will be updating picture's asap.
