1st post so apologize in advance

80w led (menards)
82F 40%RH
Coco/perlite 80/20
3 part flora series. And Calmag
2.5/2.5/.5 + 3cal micro/grow/bloom (ml/gal
Granddaddy purp and Purple haze. From ILGM

Started in solo cups. Transplanted to 1gal yesterday. Watering when pots feel bit light. Plain ph water every 2 feedings. Plants look overall healthy to me other then these few leaves. Problem seems to creep up the leaf over the last week. Curious if anyone can tell me more definitively then google what the problem is. Lol

P.s. the plan is for perpetual grow. I plan on keeping these 2 as mothers.

They look a bit dry, coco needs to stay moist at all times. Also, never water with plain water-coco has a low CEC and it needs nutrient solution in it at all times to feed the plant. Don't treat it like soil-soil has a high CEC so it holds onto nutrients, which means it only needs occasional fertilization-this article explains why you need to constantly feed coco AND keep it moist-https://www.icmag.com/forum/marijuana-growing/growing-in-coco-coir/308425-the-chemistry-behind-coco-coir-a-strange-journey-from-ferts-bottle-to-to-buds?t=307683. Once the roots have filled out to the sides and bottom of that pot, feed it to 20% runoff, to keep the salts from building up. If you let coco get dry, the EC skyrockets and might burn the plant, keeping it moist dilutes the salts, thus lowing the EC. Good luck!

Thanks for the info. That article is quite the read! With your reply and that article. It sounds like I am letting it dry a bit to much before watering. And I'll stop the plain ph waterings. See If those 2 things change my situation
Thanks again

What he said, but pump up the calmag to 5ml/gal and make sure u are using the "aggressive vegetative growth" ratio on the flora series. I'd also consider getting a better grow light.

If you're using tap water, calmag might not be necessary...........I grow in coco and never have to use a calmag supplement.
I don't know why your were told to up your calmag amount..........I see no reason for it...........the plant doesn't show a calcium or magnesium deficiency.

I've been in coco forever, I've found that 5ml/gal cal mag, assuming its GH brand "calimag" is the way to go from seedling to harvest, using RO anyway.

What’s wrong with soil?? Just sayin’
I was growing in pro mix. Mixed results. Mostly good but had gnat problems. I couldnt seem to kick
Did some dwc with nice FAST growth. But had problem with root rot as plants reached mid flower
Thought coco would be my perfect middle ground. Lol

I am using tap water. When doing research It seemed 50 50 on cal mag or not. Think I'll try one with and one without Calmag
