1st Tent Grow, 2x2x4 Questions...

I've grown many plants before but this is my first in a tent with such limited space, also 1st hydro grow. I'm running a 3.5 gallon DWC hydro bucket under a 600w LED light. My main concern is space, my plants are fairly short but have been vegging for 2 weeks. They are very bushy. Should I go 12/12 now or can I let them get a little taller? Tent is only 2x2x4. Thanks in advance.

Plants can double sometimes triple in height during their flowering stage. I'd personally give them a little more time.

Look into 'Scrog' nets. They will help you manage branching while filling a horizontal space with bidding sites. This will also allow you to keep the branches tucked under a safe amount of light.

You can make your own for pretty much nothing out of some pvc piping or 2x4 lumber ect, and some screws and twine. You can get crafty and macgyver a whole host of solutions!

Thanks, looked into that. Was eager to get something growing so I did not prepare well. Lol, might be the answer.

How close can the plant get to the lamp without frying it?
I typically see anywhere from12-18" stretch after flipping, so take that into consideration.
