1st time AG Blue mystic grow (be gentle)

So this is my first thread for rollitup and Im kinda new to growing. I smoke, I drink I love to ROCK! Help is appreciated and constructive criticism is welcome. Just dont be an asshole...nobody likes an asshole! This is what i got soo far. Germed 2 Blue mystic nirvana seeds the 6th of this month got sprouts in 2 days. They been moving along sprouting leaves and about week ago i got some brown/red dots an a lil twisting of the leaves. I assume from what i researched its from my ph fluc. Cuz one day i got home from work an it was like 7.0
I been using a quarter str of the AG nutes and distilled water. An 1 additional cfl... One plant is superior and the other is a shorty bushy mfer. My lights are on 18/6 tomato setting and the cfl is hooked to a timer. I got a 8in airstone givin me bubbles, been working great until recently i added the CFL and my fucking water temp is pushing 90 degrees. I will get some pics up as soon as i can get a hold of a camera... So bare with me. I appreciate help from you fellow stoners =)

My best advice is to not try and save money or things will end up terribly wrong. You need a ph test kit, air pump with air stone, veg and flower nutrients. I tried to do the poor college kid grow and failed, better to spend the money and smoke some dank nugs!!!

i am flowering blue mystic right now. Blue mystic is prone to root rot. You are going to have to get your res temps under 72, freeze water bottles, buy or build a chiller. Good luck

I read somewhere that u can buy somthing to help prevent root rot. Yeah i put a forzen bottle of water in there it got colder....but its going to be a bumpy ride.

1 tsp of peroxide per gal will help. Hygrozime is suppose to help but it is about 30 bucks a quart

Thanks boss. I kno this sounds kinda of repetitive but when would be a good time to use the peroxide? Like bi-weekly or just when i see my roots getting affected? Much appreciated wise guy

Well my leaves seem to be gettin orange now towards the veins of the leaves. Its happening on older leaves ...They look like they are wilting and curlin at the tips. Any ideas? ph is around 5.8-6.0 Wonder if its a deficiency or due to my high water temps which im still trying to control. My poor babies =(

Aight I think I know whats going on... Prolly getting some PH lockout. brown spots and some twisting. So what is the protocol to try and fix it? Flush res and sit in distilled or ph'ed water for 2 days and then give them nutes again? I would like some feedback if anybody is out there please thanks! Happy smokin

My cuz and I bought seeds together and he got the blue mystic, and he also just lost a few due to some kind of root rot. The worse part is that they were is soil not hydro. He also has got some that are two weeks into flowering and they look bad ass, can't wait to try it... ....I also use H202. I put in 1TBL per gal with all my water, plain and nuted water. I also put some 50/50 H202/H20 in a spray bottle and spray down my roots (in hydro). Good Luck with your grow!

Thanks for the advice. I think i will do that. Everytime I change the res spray the roots down. maybe will get good results. Got any pics of his blue mystic?

Ok so I changed my rez out with distilled water with a tbs of hydrogen peroxide checked ph with meter it read 5.8 checked water temp gauge says 72 degrees C. Going to try my best to maintain these settings for 2 days and crossing fingers for improvment. Then i will add my 1/4 str of nutes and hope for the best. Thank you for your support and input!

No, sorry no pic of the blue mystic yet. I been trying to get him to start a journal but he is to paranoid.LOL I will try to get a pic though, I been waiting for a time I happen to be there with my camera! lol

I had the same spots on my leafs.. is the new growth yellowish? I flushed and washed AG out and added only water for 1 week then 1/4 nutes, cleared it right up and now looking top notch!! good luck and keep the pics coming!!

I remember getting the same types of stuff on my leaves at a young age. Good nutes helped alot with the spots and keeping pH stable. Is you reservoir 72 degrees F or C? Because 72c is f-ing hot. lol I am kinda jealous because I had 2 blue mystic seeds and had bad luck germing them. Both sprouted tiny little sickly things that didn't survive.

O my bad its fahrenheit 72. Yeah they lookin good actually...Just need to stop being such a noob with the ph =( Any advice on or rule of thumb for using ph down for the ag rez? As for nutes im kinda poor an just been using the ag tabs... Well right now they sittin in distilled water and a tbs of h202. As for the new growth Its kinda yellow but then it gets green. I should try your 1 week sittin. Maybe I can add nutes then. I want them to look top notch =)
