1st TIME GROWER 81/2 WEEKS INTO FLOWER ARE THEY READY ?

HI ALL YOU STONERS THIS IS MY 1ST TIME TRYING A GROW AND THEY ARE 81/2 WEEKS INTO FLOWER THEY LOOK FAT BUT UNDER A MAGNIFYING GLASS THE TRICS STILL LOOK MILKY HOW MUCH LONGER DO YOU THINK ?
STRAIN IS WHITE RHINO GREENHOUSE SEEDS
VEGGED FOR 7 WEEKS WITH A 250W CFL THEN 400W HPS FOR FLOWER ON A BUDGET SO ONLY USED MG SOIL AND NUTES WITH TAP WATER LEFT TO STAND BUT THEY SEEM OK WHAT DO YOU THINK? ANY INPUT WOULD BE APPRECIATED

What is the suggested flower time for these?

From seed they tend to go a week or 2 beyond the normal suggested flowering length.And they look as they have a bit more swelling to do.....good news for you.

Ive been around grows and helped ..feed.. harvested ect.. at the collective.. but I am currently about 30 days into flower on my first SOLO grow.. check out my journal if ya got time... I agree its like having extra kids.. and if you take the time and use ur resources like internet books ect.. you can have a decent run ...

ya those still got time, Id say even 3 more weeks, start flushing in two.

I think you just broke some myths about tap water and MG soil and nutes.

I still wont use them though.

if you wanna find out, take pictures with better lighting (not HPS) and look for a mega-thread here that's called 'want to know if your plants are finished'

When the resin glands or trichomes (on your buds) are about one-half turning a milky white or amber in color (versus clear or translucent), and the small hairs have begun to turn orange, brown or reddish in color, it is then time to harvest your weed. You have a window of 5-7 days for peak harvest and potency. I will tell you, the more amber the trichomes have turned, the 'stonier' the pot will likely be. This is why I recommend harvesting when about 1/2 of the resin glands have turned amber in color - be patient, and be sure of what you see. You will harvest excellent weed at this point without passing the premium harvest window and the weed will generally NOT make you completely lethargic when smoked.

When you see the first signs of amber trichomes, water with water only... no more nutrients are needed at this time. This allows for a cleaner taste and smoking pleasure (IMO).

thanks again for the advice also wondering why lambofgod says he wouldnt use mg ? i was on a budget (only cost £125 for everything ) so using top stuff was out of the question a lot of people have told me its just a weed at the end of the day and it will grow in anything

You still have aproximately 2 weeks left, the buds are really gonna fatten and frost up in these last two weeks, wait until all they calyxs looks so fat they should burst, and then start checking trichs with a scope, look for some amber and all cloudy, the more amber the more stoned its gonna get you. looks dank, what strain?
