Hello everyone , I have always dreamed one day I will grow my own cannabis plant. and last month on july 14th I started to grow. I bought barneys farm LSD, Super Lemon Haze, and Barnye's farm Bluecheese. I used 400W MH philips light. Today I changed the light to 400 W HPS at 3 pm. they are in the dark now I heard 36 hours of darkness would put them in flowering phase faster.I dont know if it is true some says its good some says no point. Anyways I will wait till 10 am in the morning so it will be 18 hours of total darkness .And then give them 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark period. What do you think about this? I gave them 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness for almost 1,5months MH light I have some problems on some leafs. Some leafs are yellowish with dark green veins I think this happens when iron or other micro elements are lacking? and some leafs very under the plants are touching the soil whats wrong with them? I know I am a noob on this and all I can do is read, read and learn it by myself. I will post some pictures of my girls could you please help me what I need to do. I am using bio blizz soil. and bio grow for veg and bloom for flowering. As I said right now they are in total darknes since 3 pm today and it is 19:00 pm right now .

Please check the pictures I post. Yesterday I bought Genta elfer combi. It has % 2 (B),%3 (Fe), %0,3 (Mo)
and %1,5 (Zn) I put this on 1 Litre of water 2 tea spoon and shower the plants. Also I gave it to the soil a bit. You think this will fix those problems. heat is around 30 C during the light phase. hum is around 35 to 50 % I dont have a humidity device. My cabin is 100x100x200 with cool tube setup.

Sorry for the bad grammar.

I think the plants looks healthy enough, man. For your next grow you might want to read up on some topping and training techniques in the Advanced Cultivation forums to increase yield, but I wouldn't add that kind of stress now that youve switched to flower. Don't let small imperfections drive you into any sort of overreaction. The occasional leaf yellowing and falling off is just going to happen every once in a while, but overall your plants look quite nice.

I agree with southerner they look good. You should deaf look into some topping techniques for better yields. But the leaves are going to do that. Just pick it off. You might wanna look into something to cut down your humidity. It may creat bud mold later in budding.

Thank you very much guys , you really motivated me I really appreciate your comments. How can I cut down the humidity? I live In Istanbul, Turkey. Out side humidity can go up to 98%.... you would hate it if u live in istanbul :)

ugh... i hate humidity too trust me u aint in the only humid place! i dont know of any way except getting a dehumidifier and using that to lower humidity.

your plants look good to me. its acutally a good thing your SLH is so small. that strain can grow big, fast when its switched over to flower sometimes.

sounds like u have all the right stuff to me, expcept i dont understand what u mean by "Genta elfer combi" or whatever.

just keep doing as much research on growing weed as u can, there is so much available to learn around the net. if u search for it, there is a thread that shows examples of plant problems and how to correct them.

to me i cant see any major issues on your plants. just maybe the SLH looks a little yellow, but maybe its just the picture. be careful not to over water especially if you are in humid conditions. make sure your letting the soil get a little dry in between waterings. thats one of the most common beginner mistakes, over watering. another is freaking out about every little thing and using too much fertilizer or nutes. just keep that in mind.

also do you have a fan circulating air around in your grow area there? i always use as many fans as i can within reason. the more air moving the better, to an extent anyways.

keep on truckin' dude! good luck and keep learning!!

Thx for your time dude. Genta elfer comb contains iron, zinc, boron, and Mo. I sprayed it on the leafs and also to soil a bit. But I have fan over the roof that blows air directley to the cooltube where the light comes from.Another fan is located on the floor and sucks air from outside and blows inside. by the way do you think I should start doing dry ice thing for cO2? or it is useless? I have another question before harvest do you think I should switch back to the MH light? if yes how long before harvest? I have one more question :) since I am starting flowering should I only use Bloom ? or should I use grow as well ?

No dont add co2 because you have a fresh air intake so no need for c02 because you are adding c02 to the grow area with the intake already. Also stick with the hps light instead of mh light. flowering plants use more of the hps spectrum instead of the mh blue spectrum
