1st time main-lining journal......

i would say thats the only prob with straight coco, it holds moisture so well dampening off can be a problem. i tried using coco in my net pots in my dwc. 1st time round i had a hole pack of purple gems rotted at the stem, the bubbles were keeping it too wet.

i killed them with kindness and the tude dont refund grower error lol

what other strains you got anyways....?? (i personally hate white widow if it aint black!!)

I can't handle any more than about 3 spliffs within 2 hours.

Not to sound negative but I've read from those I trust that Critical+ is not bad but nothing special. And not sure what is meant by 64 days, 64 in or 64 to go, but I look for something that kicks my butt after 3 bong pulls when still immature to know it'll be one-hitter-quitter when done. Have a very high tolerance and most of what folks say is dank is mediocre to me. Think I was forever spoiled years ago by a no name pheno I found from seed that was so unbelievably potent that if I described it none would belieqve it. Wouldn't either if I hadn't witnessed it myself. Named her Atomic Chronic and appropriately placed a little halogram lightning bolt sticker on the bags.

I meant 64 days total of 12/12 lighting.

Maybe I got lucky or I'm just a lightweight but it puts me on my arse!

Been quite a heavy smoker knocking on 15 years.

Should be interesting. I also just chopped my first mainline and the strain leaves a little to be desired the harvest was speechless for me. I ended up with 8z off 1 plant only veg for 7 weeks.

If you don't mind me asking,
how many heads on your mainline?
How many plants?
What lighting?

My first mainline is just beginning to show the new growth of recovery.

What a massive action. I took a plant that was about 2 feet tall and
left it buried in the hempy with a few inches sticking up. I expect that
at least seven weeks will be necessary, but it will pick up speed.

That looks like a cool breed list.

yes im gona take not of the time it takes to grow before a can take to flower room, then i know how mand weeks before harvest i can get the next lot seeds started and maybe toppd first time before the harvest will save me a few weeks into 2nd 1 i suppose

just repotted the babys and gona put them under the 400mh at weekend got a new bulb for them aswell, still weeks till i start chopping but plenty time to learn that gives....

try the critcal 47 or critical +, delahaze is a big yielder too....if your looking for stuff to put you on ya arse out of that list its gotta be sensi, or the og18....

5/6th node nuggs has his shit on smash, i tired it early and found the later the better, give them time to be able t take it i also found that say you are on the 6th node and top her wait 3 days, then remove the lowest set of branches growth is then pushed back up, 3 days later top for 4 and wait 3 days, growth will have been pushed down then remove another set of branches, wait 3 days and top for 8, wait 3 days and take any remaining branches off.

i would also leave the fan leafs on if you can untill the top canopy shadows them.

unless growing trees i think 8 tops is plenty or in your case do 4 with 8 tops and one with 4 tops to cram that extra one in...

the only problem i have with this technique is a conflict in my beliefs, i believe this is a great technique esp for reducing waste popcorn bud, even level light distribution, level canopy, great for air flow etc i also believe in letting plants establish them selves fully before starting to hack them up, i like to wait untill there about 12" tall....all this means is i need a way to combine both principles, i think what i have said above is a start!

ok well it will be a mutual decision anyway when i start to chop out off them. might do 4 white widow x big bud and do 4 tops on each in my 3x3ft cuboard or just do 2 plants with 8 tops each and save 2 seeds

yes m8 off attitude seeds 4 white widow x big bud... i only went for them as i got 10oz of 4 big bud clones in my 3x3ft cuboard in 10ltr pots il find out il plant them this morning striaght into soil and see how they get on

yea its female seeds worst 15 quid i ever spent! you may have better luck then me and tbf they did look nice, proper xmas tree shape, small but firm buds. but it was ting and it did smell like catpiss and it did hermi....hopefully youll have better luck!!

ok so i have planted them widow x big bud see what comes of them, the seeds looked shite like premature and tiny also plants the auto northen lights x big bud and 5 others

the delahaze, punky lion, buddah tahoe, mkage and white widow since my other never made it so i still have sum good strians kept back for my next run
