2 400watt hps

i have just got two 400 watt hps lights n i want to no the best,easiest,smartest way to get the most weed quick (dont we all). forinstance should i do small plants but more of em, or should i do regular plants? i wanted to lst or scrog? can u guys help out with ideas i will let you no how big the closet is once i figure out wich one. thanks.

2 400w HPS lights will SMOKE CHECK a closet. You wont have to worry about anything cuz it will all be fried.

Seriously, you haven't figured out the size of your room, but somehow some way we are supposed to help you figure out how to grow?

hey "cheif" go to the flee market, sell your lights, and buy pot with the money. i would say thats the fastest way to get weed.....but hey i may be high? or, and i just thought of this....you could grow magic weed.....i seen it in a cartoon but im pretty sure you can do it.

dicks.... how bigs ur closet... if its small. use 400.. and good vent/cooling.... for more yield people say scrog. less u got little room.. then go sog with some nice sativas. if u go scrog... make sure u got enough room for them.. they'll get wide

To be honest mate, if you want help and advice, i wouldnt go round telling people to fuck off and calling them pussys cos they'll just laugh at you and you STILL wont have any weed growing...

Now, look at it from the point of view of an adult... You asked a semi-pointless question and gave no info to help... what do you want? Magic weed?

wow..... putting all the b/s behind.... 400 watt light will do a 4x4ft area.... if you have a light with a built in ballast your gonna need some ventilation for cooling... smartest thing to do is by a light with a detached ballast and have ti outside of your grow room (keeps the heat down) most heat comes from your ballast as opposed to your light.... you can get about 6 plants out of this i want to say.... usuallly with a 600 watt hps you can do 9 plants in a SOG (sea of green) if you use fox farm for your grow meduim... also your gonna want to do a 2 stage fert plan so what i did was....purchase foxfarm grow big nutrients... (in my opinion is one of the best veg products you can buy) and then when you switch to flowering you should switch nutrients to Iguana Juice (in my opinion one of the best "bloom" or "flowering" products you can buy..... try not to overwater and make sure you adjust your light frequently with growth and you should be A-ok.... just dont show your friends or anyone else for that matter untiil its dried and ready-to-go...

Yeah heres 2 400 watters at work in a 4.5x4.5x6.5ft tent.... It can be done..

I have been looking at throwing 2 - 400w HPS in cooltubes into a 3 x 4 tent with 5 or 6 hundred cfm blowing across. In my sog right now I have 18 lollipopped plants in a 20" x 20" space under a 400w with the light about 4" above the plants.

I know I am going to get flamed hard for this but here is the idea. I believe that small lights very close will provide higher lumens and light penetration because of the relative distance to the plants is closer. No distance loss. I think there is a multiplier for the lumen gain. With some real airflow you could get the 400s very close to the plants.

If my thinking is way off don't be a dick. lol. BONG!:peace:

Its hard to say. There are some weird circumstances around the grow that I am using a 400 super close. A buddy had a paranoid freakout and was going to throw away a Shroom, Strawberry Cough, and Blue Cheese mothers. He had decided to quit before the freakout and had put them into flower. Over 2 weeks into flower the freakout happened. He was going to throw them away and they just looked to good to pitch and I thought that I could fuck with them. There was no room anywhere for them to finish flowering at the time so I though I would clone them and see what happened. I took 40 or so clones and kept the best 16. Considering I would say they are looking good.
